yes but n. nazimabad area is stronghold of MQM, everyone who has lived in Karachi knows that.
North Nazimabad has some Blocs which are comprised of Apartments only and they are Dense Populated parts of Nazimabad. MQM support is mostly found over there and Hyderi Market as well due to Ismailis and Bohris in large number who supports MQM mostly.
in 90s only 2 parties held pwer here JI and MQM. when MQM came JI was almost wiped out fully.
Tariq Road till Bahadurabad was full of MQM supporters but not anymore. have shifted to PTI.

yeah because it knows it has only and only one tactic to get supporters : muhajir card. no other way MQM can get votes. and there is no Muhajir sentiment in part of Pakistan except Karachi. So it's not more of whether they're interested, it's because they just can't get votes from Punjab.

MQM is not interested in Punjab now especially during these tough times because they are more concerned with saving their own base which is Karachi and this Election would be the special case for them if they won they would survive longer and if they lose someone else would take the place. Margin doesnt matter for them as much as its matter for PTI. Survival through winning the seat is a thing which they are trying right now. They can reclaim other seats later but this one is what is most Important for them.

Its nothing new. We witnessed the same type of campaign by PPP in 2013 elections against nawaz. U call it slander campaign and personally find it used when you can't find anything good to say abt yourself. In an election you campaign two ways.
À. You talk about how good you are and your goals and what you will do for the people.
B. You talk about how your opponent is the devil and you slander him to no ends.
I am afraid slander campaigning has been a huge part of our election history.
However mqm is really worried with the constant harassments and this attack.
I wont call it worry but they are angry indeed because Imran Khan's Personal Attacks like Zinda Lash and saying Karachi Hostage which could be implied as Karachiite are Cowards and they need Brave Heart from Bani Gala to Save them. These kind of words would comes under impression of Insults not a true Representation.
Further more he cant even won anything from his Electable Politics because Karachiite Values Institutionalised POlitics be it JI or MQM. This formula may work elsewhere but not in Karachi so he is temporary Phenomenon as soon as his Electables Swith Sides he is Washed out of Politics.
