Please see the above. The Americans really do not care who the PM is, as long as they can work with the real power center in Pakistan. IK was just as disposable as all his predecessors, and thus no need to get rid of him by conspiracy.

In any case, IK lost his government, no matter where you put the blame. At least we can agree that IK paid the price. And right now, that is all water under the bridge. False bravado is engrained in the genetic makeup of our majority population. Their courage and bravery only comes out against meek and weak when they are punching down.
