Saudi woman, 80, donates $133m to charity

An 80-year-old Saudi woman has donated all her wealth estimated at over SR500 million to various charity associations, a report in Arab News said.

The donation was revealed by Badr bin Mohammed Al-Rajhi, a businessman, in a tweet on his Twitter account, said the report.

The octogenarian’s heart-warming gesture comes just on the heels of an 18-year-old girl donating SR50 million and another person parting with SR120 million for similar purposes, the report said.

Several people reacted by posting praise for the 80-year-old woman, whose identity or location has not been revealed.

There's nothing disgusting about genuine apprehensions, because my countrymen have died in the thousands, thanks to ''charitable'' donation from your country in the past. There's nothing disgusting about fighting terrorism funding. Often the donors themselves are not aware of where their money is really going.

It is disgusting because we all know that KSA is a strategic partner of India when it comes to counter-terrorism.

It is disgusting because we all know that both of India and KSA DO track and trace all money that comes in and out.

It is disgusting because we all know that the very same people who adopted the very same ideology which had sadly massacred Indian nationals DID also kill thousands of Saudi citizens, policemen, and politicians.

If what you're saying is true - although we still demand providing solid, materialistic evidence to such a claim - then I'm guessing that I'm right to say that you should blame your country in the first place.
