Well of course. But often the communication is in English. But sure mostly in broken Arabic. Those who have been here for a while usually are able to communicate on a fairly advanced level.

I am not really an expert on all this and we don't have a nanny anymore or any workers. Well, two of our neighbors young kids are helping at my parents garden once in a while and for that they receive some money, candies or food, LOL. That's it.

I would probably also change some laws regarding this and do something about all the illegals for our own sake and theirs.

Yes, that is correct. I already gave you a link. It says that there are 500.000 Hindus in KSA. More than anywhere else in the Arab world.

Ties between the Arabian Peninsula and the Western coast of India (Kerala especially) date back over 2000 years back. People crossed the Arabian Sea for trade etc.

You don't "impress" people. The convert/person should himself or herself know about the religion and have a personal CONVICTION. You cannot force anyone.

I think when you import non Muslim maids from India, two things you need to do.

1. Teach them Arabic so that they can communicate in Arabic.
