Saudi Religious Affairs Minister on his way to Islamabad

Let the mofo come. I'm sure we can meet him in N.W.A, where most of their illegitimate children from Afghan war reside. Let him come, he needs some 'brotherly love' up his hiney. Furthermore, he should also bring along that UAE minister for some lovin, who shits from his mouth.

Came in and starting off with interviews and sanctimonious sermons which our politicians will buy. Plainly because many of these sermons come with the offer of benefits that come with the decision. What is interesting though is the massive hulabulloo there is over us; the Persians reacted when they heard of us and the Arabs find our stance the worst.

Two possibilities emerge:

1. Both Arabs and Persians think of us as a useless military and therefore one threatened us and the other wanted cannon fodder.

2. Both Arabs and Persians fear us and would love to keep us out/in of the conflict.

.
Well for starters, they recently gifted Pakistan $2B to prop up the Pakistani Rupee.
These 'gifts' come with strings and favours attached. Not to mention the Saudis granted Nawaz exile potentially saving his neck post 1999 coup.

Ever heard of the saying, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"?

How sure are you about the $ 2 billion? If the answer is 100%, give me a real proof too please. Reality may be something you are not exactly privy to....

Second, if saving NS was such a big debt he owed to the KSA.....you realize he is the PM and his party alone can get things done. If I take people like yourselves examples, he could buy anything, here Saudi money is backing him up.....so what happened???? Well, the democracy happened. Your other political parties haven't made fuss about it as it was a democratic decision made together as a nation. He could've very well come on TV, riled up the support to mention the Godly places and the right to protect them, and the people would fall for it. So its the system that keeps everyone in check and it has started to work!!!

There is no scratching anyone's back. At the end, its everyone's national interests!!! And Pakistan has learned to follow theirs. Good job. Now if the KSA says, come save our borders but don't go to the war zone, I think that's not too bad. But again, it is the Pakistani government and people's call. We are no one to judge.

I just herd about this hadees. Pakistani must help saudies if they wants to go to heaven.

Arabs can't win the war without boots on the ground, much easier to win and continue fighting a war,if body bags are going some where else.

Arab dictators dont trust their soldiers as arming them could result in armed revolt.

Actually, neither the Persians nor the Saudis want us involved, what they both wanted was to check our "blood" allegiance. With the vague stance we took, it shook the Arbeez to the core and left the Persians baffled. I say well done to the morons in Parliament. A wise decision out of sheer stupidity (I'm sure, after reading the whole text, you'll come to the same conclusion).

I'm lovin all the attention and press we're getting. Specially the bad one coming out of UAE (bad from the PoV of few here). This is bound to change some preconceptions, you know exactly whose.

So, his going to come and try to religiously justify that Pakistan should be in this coalition? Which if I had to guess would be in the front line as cannon fodder?
This is the issue with us Pakistanis. We live in assumptions. Bhai merey, usko aaney do, lets hear what he says. How do you know Saudis want Pakistani troops as gun fodder? Saudis are way smarter than our dumb fool politicians and they'll not put us in a situation that will harm our relations. I know a majority of forum members will not agree with me for at this point of time anger (of our own incompetence and failures that we are dumping on Saudis) is dominating logic but lets wait for a while.

If Pakistan's part of this coalition was just moral then I doubt the parliament would have said such a resounding no or would the Arab governments have reacted in such a way. They want Pakistani troops for a grand operation which is going to end in many deaths which the Saudis don't have the stomach for.

.
They want us to show solidarity with them that we can show without sacrificing our own interests.

Really, is that why they want our troops in the ground air and sea, fighting their war. you do realize they attacked Yemen and then asked pakistan to come clean up the mess they started.

Parliament has not said any resounding no but showed as usual her inability to grasp the matter at hand and passed an ambiguous resolution that is only earned her disrespect as usual. With kind of monkeys sitting in the parliament, nothing better was expected though.

Saudis could be convinced that our situation does not permit us to become the part of the combat forces but we are more than willing to free up Saudi forces by assuming the protection of the key areas in KSA.

If the Saudis want us as moral support or a message to Iran with us being part of this coalition then I have no problems with that, but unfortunately I think they want us to play a more active role.

Not sure what some 'intellectuals' here are on about with regards to 'ambiguous resolution'. There's no ambiguity in the resolution. Pakistan at no cost wants to engage in Yemen conflict. It's as simple as that. I'm sure no 'hadees' is gonna change that.

Some Mullahs on PDF the other way were reading too much into the resolution. There's really nothing more to it. Even if Saudis were to commence a false flag attack on Saudi borders, Pakistan Army still wouldn't serve their purpose since it'd still by deployed WITHIN Saudi border. While The Saudis want The Pakistan Army IN Yemen. See the difference?

And unless Iran's been assured a thing or two, it must keep constant pressure on Pakistan via Diplomacy, The Pakistani Media, Public rallies through it's proxies, etc, should Iran wants Pakistan to stay away from Yemen. Iran would be doing both Pakistan and itself a favor. However, analyzing the Iranian current affairs, one could safely assume Jawad Zarif's been assured of Pakistan neutral instance with regards to Yemen conflict.

Well then what such honor was spotted in saudi defence minister that he was taken for a tour to Kahuta labs in 99's trip to pakistan.
Again Libya and China was major partner in nuclear program from day one. Saudi role is not cleared accept oil supply on deferred payment after nuke test.
Read IAEA report on Pak nuclear program and Qadeer Khan nexus .
It Nawaz who brought Saudi in Pak nuclear program. Pakistan was un announced nuclear power in mid 80s.Nawaz thought nuclear arsenal is his property. Later army taught him good lesson.
