Let’s see what areas could the prince be interested in? Power sector, ship building, banking, transport, construction, or the property sector? There are a lot of areas he could get good returns, and he has the money.

Kingdom Holding usually buys/invests in major brands (AOL, Apple Inc., MCI Inc., Motorola, News Corporation, Citicorp) and property. So I have the feeling he would either be interested in the ex-Sheraton or building hotels in Cox’s Bazaar, building a couple of 5 stars there would be chump change for him.

Investments in ex-Sheraton seems unlikely as the Intercontinental seems to have
inked some deals with the tourism ministry. Probable investments should come
in coxs bazaar, though with the Masterplan still in the design phase I wonder
even if that would occur. He does have major stakes at some renowned
houses but that would be out of regional context.

We should ask him to build new ones instead of buying existing. That will add to the economy.
Why not he get involved in LNG terminal or some LNG based thermal power plants? He can also invest in mega real estate projects like Omega City. Also some PPP options in building expressway etc.

But I'd have to say, Russian birds are maintenance intensive. After sales support isn't that great, but some people (including Pakistanis and Indians) have said it is improving. But still, they look great and very tough. You can even take-off on an SU-27 from the Dhaka airport highway!
