Saudi needs Bangladesh Army-

Few days ago Hasina visited Saudi - Why ?

When THE journalist killed by the Saudi Authority . Then Turkey tried to handle the situation. As a result Saudi Authority confession their crime.

But here according to sec info- Saudi Authority wanted BD army. Question is why ? Hasina said- okay - we will do . What she will do ? ZERO. She also claimed that , about More Donation or AIDS or Investment in BD .

Now the question is Why Saudi suddenly- got interest about BD Army ! Saudi can;t stand Infront of Turkey for a long time- That is why Saudi is now playing a critical game. They want to involve BD army with their own force.

But i must say- NO NEED.

Bhai, Bd army can not even safeguard fellow brothers in uniform yet you are taking about helping out Saudi.

Again what's the big deal. Saudis have money, if they want to incorporate BD into their calculus so be it. BD will gain experience, modern hardware, experience, strategic leverage etc.

It's one thing to cooperate and another to actually fight. BD wont participate in any aggressive action unsanctioned by UN or that does not involve protecting Saudi territory.

BD military will require parliamentary backing which seems to me unlikely. This as far as I am concerned is a win win for BD.

No country will fight a war against someone for Saudi irrespective of how much money they have. But protecting Saudi territorial integrity is a different matter.

BD should engage positively with the Saudis.

KUWAIT CITY, May 3: A 7-member Bangladesh military delegation headed by Major General S.M. Matiur Rahman, AFWC, PSC, Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army is visiting Kuwait on an official visit from April 30, 2018 to May 6, 2018.

During the visit, the delegation met Chief of Staff, Kuwait Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al Khadher, PSC and Lieutenant General Mahmoud Mohammad Al-Dosari, Undersecretary, Ministry of Interior. The team also took part in the 2nd Joint Committee Meeting on military cooperation between Bangladesh and the Kuwait Armed Forces on May 2-3, 2018.

The delegation was briefed at Bangladesh Military Command (BMC) Headquarters on May 1, 2018 by Commander BMC, Brigadier General Abul Mansur Md Ashraf Khan, NDC, PSC about activities of BMC in Kuwait. Besides, the delegation also visited some historic and iconic places of the State of Kuwait.

Bangladesh army?
No Experience of Warfare, No Experience of Counter Insurgency, Non Existent Air force, Its just a token force as Bangladesh have no real National Security Threats. I mean Myanmar is the biggest threat to Bangladesh
Stop Daydreaming. Saudi Army can eat your army 10 times a day. Why would they need your army help? They have world strongest armies as Allies like USA, UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Pakistan. Even if USA is Backing out, UAE,Kuwait, Egypt and Pakistan are enough for Saudi Arabia. Bangladesh can give diplomatic support though, But the current state had bee of Saudi Arabia and the Journalist murder Fiasco is not the best time for Diplomatic Support though

@ In 1973-1975 our Army was deployed for fighting with the "Nakshallist".
@ From early 1976 till 1982 our Army was deployed in greater Mymensingh Area to fight with the Indian backed insurgency.
@ Our Army had been deployed in UN mission in different part of the world for last 30 years and it is all most at par with Pakistan Army.

@ In the world history there are very few examples where Insurgency was completely eradicated. Few example may be Mala Campaign and Insurgency in Sri Lanka. And we can some extend that we could force the "Santi Bahinini" to come for a peace and finally the peace treaty was signed on December 1997.

If people don't make fun of my post!!!!!!! only then:::::
Best opportunity for BD and BD army...… If KSA made this request don't say "NO"...… Send 150,000 troops , Train them , Buy new and best eqm for them , let them have real war experience … All pf this on Arab Money...…
Iran is not your neighbour so no direct threat or issue ,,, BD is one ethnicity country (Bengali) and you people don't have much rule of religion in your country so "NO" issue of Shia - Sunni ……
If you ask me BD is the best place from where KSA or other Arab countries can get help .
Pakistani elite is compromised and in deep love of Iran(Shia-ism) and few destroyed golden opportunity with their big mouths in too much favour of KSA(Wahabi-ism)…… In short Pakistani people did not come out from their love of KSA and Iran (because of religious background) and waisted many golden ……..

A good suggestion!!!! But, the problems are the following:

• BD PM Hasina and her family were at the receiving end of the BD army!!! Her entire extended family (parents, brothers, sisters-in-law [even pregnant], uncles, aunts, cousins etc.] of importance, who yielded indefinite power during the one-party one-man rule of Mujib under Indira, was wiped out by ex Pak Army members fluent in Urdu/Pashto/Baloch etc. languages. Not to mention they were made into the fine war machines through the relentless and merciless World Wars winning training regimes imparted by Punjabi/Pathan NCO/JCOs etc.!!! Moreover, the Muslim officers from the East Pak got exposed to the military culture of the West Pak!!! And, to their way of thinking, mindsets etc.!!! These are in direct contrast to surrendering to the state of Termites under the Indian Hindus!!!! No wonder Hasina's hatred for the BD Army is infinitely more than that against the Pak Army!!!
• Hasina was in India during 1975 to 1981 residing in Delhi!!! Now, Indians even re-use garbage bags!!! So, do you think it was a free ride?????
• Within "two weeks" of Hasina's return to BD, the Muslim President Zia-ur Rehman, an ex Pak Army intelligence/infantry officer with citations during '65 War, got assassinated via a failed military coup!!!! Now, Zia re-invigorated the BD Army with expansion, the Chinese weapons, Pak-style military training/indoctrination etc.!!! Moreover, he put expatriated ex Pak Army officers, who hadn't rebelled during 1971, in important positions!!! And, he also rehabilitated pro-Pak BD Muslim politicians in top positions (Speaker, PM, FM etc.)!!! He was rebranding the BD folks to the Muslim Nationalism, which can recognize India as a mortal enemy!!!! And, he could successfully project BD as a Muslim country to the Muslim world resulting in diplomatic, economic, military etc. support from them!!! He was almost making a Pak out of BD!!! Interestingly, during BD's victory day, school textbooks etc., the name of the Pak Army wasn't directly mentioned vis-à-vis '71 fiasco!!!!
• Hasina and her cohorts consider the BD Army as the biggest threat to their continuous rule under a Permanent Settlement (BD is by/for/of India)!!! So, they taught them a lesson with a Gujrat/Modi-style pogrom!!!! And, they have successfully subdued them to a large extent.
• India and Hasina's success lie in keeping the BD Army as weak as possible!!! Even it means capitulating to Burma!!!! All senior BD officers are sent to India for training and close profiling to make their standard to that of the ANA thugs of Afganistan!!! It’s what the template for a Muslim Army from India’s perspective!! Every promotion is closely monitored by RAW!!! India also considers BD as a "buffer region" to be violated to circumvent the "chicken's neck" during the conflict with China!!!

Therefore, the BD Army will never be allowed to get their "Muslim identity" back!!! Hence, no contacts with the Pak Army will ever be allowed.....

Wow - Pakistani posters have a lot to say about quality of BD Army training etc. when they have never visited BD even, much less know about our military installations, training standards and equipment.

One has to question how they claim to know so much when some of the BD Army posters in PDF don't.

Of course some of this (maybe all of it?) can be dismissed as immature speculation coming from warmonger teens.
