Saudi-Iran row: PM Nawaz and Gen Sharif arrive in Tehran

True, this is a good initiative, but then again it also shows that Pakistan is rather weak as a state. Since it still depends on two Muslim powers i.e Saudi Arabia and Iran for it's internal stability/security. This shows the Pakistani state establishment/internal security apparatus is very weak even compared to other smaller/weaker middle eastern countries.

Pakistan is cautious because these two countries have once played their proxy wars on its soil. Thats why Pakistan is pro active now and trying to resolve issues b/w them because the on going rivalry b/w these two authoritarian countries can pose serious dangers for the region and world. SA and Iran can't play this sectarian bullsht the way they once had played in Pakistan. Pakistani Shias are well integrated in our society. Only few extremists in both sects make trouble otherwise majority is peaceful and has mind your own business attitude. If Pakistan's security apparatus is weaker compared to ME ones then Pakistan would also have faced the same fate like of Libya, Syria, Iraq and Syria long ago, which didn't happen. It means we are powerful enough to hold the powers. We always keep a low profile. ;) Just because we are dealing with potential threat, it doesn't mean we rely on SA and Iran for our stability. In fact, if we look at history, it is SA who acquired help of Pakistan to crush anti state elements on Saudi soil. Saudis were asking troops for Yemen while Iran was asking not to send troops to Yemen. So, it is quite opposite of what you have mentioned....

No SINGLE COUNTRY in the Muslim world can cause such chaos/sectarian divide/instability in KSA, and Iran. This means these two countries are quite strong internally and have a proper functioning security/intelligence apparatus with decent living/educational standards as well.

Pakistan and Turkey can but they won't. We and Turks are more responsible than these Arabs and Iranians.

Pakistan in my opinion should take a learn from this and find out why she is suffering so much from instability caused by the Muslim world two leading powers Sunni led KSA and Shia led Iran.:bounce:

Pakistan has already learned how to tackle both and is monitoring the funding these guys are doing to our institutions. We have arrested many terrorists who are linked to the proxies of SA and Iran. Their influence is being monitored and counter measures have already be taken by Gov't of Pakistan.
We are winning this war on terrorism. All sorts of terrorism is being rooted out.:pakistan:

Both SA and Iran need to stop taking provocative steps and interfering in each others affairs. They definitely need to stop
using people of the middle east as cannon fodder for their proxy wars. Fkn pathetic.

Actually a war between Saudia and Iran is not going to affect us that much on security ground but it will affect us massively on economic front and we wouod have to side with one country and severe our ties with other here and the Saudi role in secterianism in Pakistan is blowned out of propotion the secterian mess in Pakistan is totally our internal creation

And in reality Saudi depends more on its internal security on Pakistan than we do on them our concern is our massive economic relation with them that will be affected in case of war

Where did that thread go, which said Pakistan is "sending more ground troops to KSA"?

It had a link to Dawn or something like that...
