Trump get happy with money and Saudis get happy with the weapons.. it is a win/win..It's just waste of money they buy american weapons so trump will be happy with them
But they are not going to use them maybe they should spend money on useful thingsYou can't fight in Canada.. you go to jail if you start a fight ..low life, otherwise I would have loved to slap your ugly low life face.. Most of the weapons in the deal are defensive, that is the purpose of buying them to be used in the defence of Saudi Arabia and the GCC through coordination of efforts..But they are not going to use them maybe they should spend money on useful things
Not waste of money if they can get F-35 best stealth plane on the market and AEGIS destroyers and Subs because their navy is crap. It's just waste of money they buy american weapons so trump will be happy with them
I don't remember, Yemen conflict should have given them some experience also they ain't going to do well in a war without a navy..... and guess what we Pakistan don't even have a good navy. When was the last time the Saudis won a war?
Don't you think KSA has focused a lot on their air force, and not their navy, I would say that a navy is more important in projecting power... Their navy seems neglected. Most of the weapons in the deal are defensive, that is the purpose of buying them to be used in the defence of Saudi Arabia and the GCC through coordination of efforts..
But more important is the transfer of technology involved and the strategic alliances with Major US weapons manufacturers and technology leaders apart from another $240 billion for acquiring the necessary modern know-how in civilian technologies, infrastructure, education, R&D and technological solutions in all fields of engineering...etc
They need to highly trained, how is that they spend $80B yet they have no navy?So much weaponry and yet rag tag Houthi rebels are launching ballistic missiles at a Saudi Arabia.
Even in the past Saudia spent so much money but it's not translating into meaningful results

No Arab country will dominate west Asia, but I know Israel would dominate with $80B.... Israel already most powerful country in the middle east.I don't quite understand Saudi's military spending patterns when no tangible results are being delivered. Rather bewildering.
Give $80bn to Yemen and they will dominate West Asia.

True, I also admit I am not sure if Pakistan will ever have a military budget that big in our lifetime...Israel has a dominance of deterrence.
Not the raw dominance an Arab/Muslim nation can posses.
Give Pakistan $80bn and they will also I admit put it to better use than most.
