You are more than advised to restrict your sharing toThis thread is intended to show an largely unknown part (for outsiders that is) of KSA and nothing else. I neither agree nor disagree with what is posted. I am just showing this side of KSA and its diverse people.
I heard. Airports in Saudi are surprisingly different though. You will see women without hijab. Of course I am not condoning the law in Iran and Saudi forcing women to do niqab. We muslims still haven't learnt from our liberal ancestors nor have we given freedom to our own people. Even in Pakistan there are places where women can't move a meter out of their houses.The women are either not Saudi (Lebanese etc) or expats;

Bro don't be hard on desert fighter. There's nothing wrong admitting things like banning women from driving are not great principles. We even criticize Pakistan for lack of womens empowerment. Its nothing personal against Saudis. This woman appeared without an abaya and received death threats. Isn't that wrong. Of course all Saudis aren't like that but one day all muslim societies will have to shed the influence of the mullahs and provide freedom. Love for Saudi Arabia though as it has been a good friend to Pakistan.LOL, all of them are Saudi Arabians (as can be confirmed by their profiles, well-known personalities (public people), names and as it is linked to etc. in each tweet) and that news is obviously nonsense. Women do not have to wear any headscarfs in private or among themselves. In fact quite a few of those photos of Saudi Arabian tv anchors are taken in the Al-Arabiya studio, a few even in the studio in Riyadh.
Epic fail, ignorance and quite possibly butthurt trolling.
As for you article from that propaganda and obsessive site, "Independent", it EVEN states, that the vast majority only had support and that's too in one of the most conservative cities in KSA.
It's taken abroad. You do know that people can travel nowadays, especially people from KSA? Hopefully. Can't believe that this is necessary to state.
Most of those photos are taken in KSA and 95% of those people live in KSA.
