According to the "Pakistan Daily" reported on the 20th, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have reached an agreement to invest 10 billion US dollars in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Usman Dar, deputy secretary-general of the Tehreek-e-Insaf, where Prime Minister Imran Khan is located, said on Twitter on the 20th that the Imran Khan government and Saudi Arabia reached A multi-billion dollar agreement.
On the 20th, Pakistani news and broadcasting minister Fawad Chaudhry announced that Saudi Arabia will become the third strategic partner of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Chowdhury said that the recent visit of Pakistani Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia will bring about new changes in the strategic relationship between the two countries. A consultative committee has been planned. Chowdhury himself also participated in the two-day visit.
According to Pakistan's Dunya News network, Imran Khan reached an agreement with Saudi Arabia during the visit. Saudi Arabia will build the important port of Gawadar into an oil city, which will become part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Dunya News reported that China, as a major investor in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, had planned to establish an oil city in Gwadar, but with Pakistani Prime Minister's visit to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi King has promised to invest $10 billion. Pakistan has already told China about this agreement before handing it over to Saudi Arabia.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, Pakistani Prime Minister also visited the United Arab Emirates. According to sources, Pakistan will also sign a multi-billion dollar agreement with the UAE.
Earlier, Imran Khan said in an interview with a Saudi newspaper that Saudi Arabia always generously assisted Pakistan in times of difficulty. Whenever Saudi encounters difficulties, Pakistan will stand with Saudi Arabia. He also expressed the hope that peace in the Middle East can be maintained. If necessary, Pakistan is willing to play an active role in promoting conflict resolution. He said that because of the holy places of Mecca and Medina, every Muslim has a special connection with Saudi Arabia.

According to the "Pakistan Daily", at the end of the visit of Imran Khan, Pakistan Army Chief of Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa met with President Xi Jinping in Beijing to discuss the environment, challenges and future direction of regional security. Bajeva said that China and Pakistan need to jointly resist the destructive forces against cooperation. Pakistan attaches great importance to China's support. Xi Jinping said that those who oppose the CMB project will not succeed because they are for peace and development.
The Pakistani government has not announced Saudi Arabia’s investment. If the investment amount is indeed 10 billion U.S. dollars, then Imran Khan’s goal of achieving 15 billion U.S. dollars in investment will be about 90%.
The country’s current foreign exchange reserves are in a hurry and economic assistance is urgently needed. As the triangular debt, loans and debts in the energy sector have reached 1.155 trillion rupees, the government plans to pay Rs 500 crore to independent power producers and national oil.
Earlier, China and Pakistan reached a consensus that the construction of the China-Pakistan corridor could invite third-country investors to participate.
