Beirut and Lebanon: The gay paradise of the Arab world
A visit to Lebanon reveals Roman treasures, natural wonders, outstanding food, cosmopolitan fun and a growing gay scene

Beirut is now one of the safest and most fun places in the region. Arabs from the Gulf states and Iranian tourists fear driving through Syria but still do so as this is by far the cheapest way to reach this pulsating city on the western Mediterranean shores. Saudis and Jordanians escape the summer heat at home and visit Beirut. For the gay scene this means a mixture of visitors from throughout the Middle East and beyond

Lebanon used to be 70-80%+ Christian a few decades ago, small country and they do not represent other Arab states. good luck trying to propose LGBT marches in the GCC, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria.

Omg @CamelGuy. I am sure you are not happy with this

But all arab armies were there...
Were pakistani troops there killing iraqi?

In 2003, before the outbreak of the second Gulf War, Pakistan announced that it was opposed to any military action against Iraq. ... During 2004–05, 14 Pakistani citizens were made hostages out of which two were killed. However, the relations were normalized following the United States troops troop withdrawal from Iraq.

Not that the above mattered. Perhaps the war should haven fought on brain power. Then we wouldnt be having this stupid conversation as you would have been dead. Progress for the arabs

Yes all Arab armies were there, but why were the glorious non-Arab Muslim states also there together with the US and the UK? Because you are faggots that's why, you've always been siding with the west that's why you never got sanctioned and bombed to shit by them.

Let us not forget, the US military properly established itself in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, only after the 1991 war.

Also I spoke of the first gulf war not the second, not 2003.

Saudi can’t even look after Palestine, never mind them throwing some more money and meddling in Cyprus

.
I said/in reply to @dani92
Turks are more in common with Pakistanis culturally than Arabs
@dani92 brought up Iran. and said Pakistan had more in common with Iran, India and Afghanistan.
Now go back and read the course of conversation.
Pakistan has close cultural connections with Iran too. For example their national language has a mixture of Persian too.
Anyway, continue your discussions lol.

Yes Iran a lot closer to Pakistan than Turkey. And if Pakistan side with Iran over Turkey, I doubt many Turks would be bothered.

It's well known that Lebanon used to have a Christian majority population before their 1975-1990 civil war, factual numbers. Christians are not as strict and conservative as Muslims are in 2019, hence explaining the more "free" society there.

With the amount of violence Pakistan has witnessed over the past decade you shouldn't call us violent animals. To start with, our countries were very safe before American intervention. Iraq had no suicide bombings till the US came with their adventures. Libya was safe before the American adventures, Syria was completely safe and I have visited it myself long ago. The west attacks our countries and then they mock us as suicide bombers and terrorists, but I understand their ignorance. Though for this to come from a Pakistani all I can say is lol.

The Arab world has been fairly stable a couple of decades ago, we're in the most violent times since the 1950's when it comes to the middle east. The 80's and 90's were a stable time for the Arab world except for Iraq and Lebanon. The early 2000's were stable up until the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The Arab spring sent many countries to hell though. Take a look at the amount of casualties from terrorism in Pakistan, I can easily say you guys love killing each other if I was as much a monkey as you are being right now.

Once again....show me where I called you a violent animal. That's you calling yourself.
The terror is Pakistan was saudi (arab money) and indian funded. We fought and we won. No excuses.
You blame America israel and even Micky mouse. Look in the mirror. It's you that's the problem

. . .
Why would Iran confront Turkey ?
I don't know, but if it were to happen, it would makes sense for Pakistan to side with Iran being neighbours and all.
But a lot of Pakistan feel closer to Turks than Arabs just in what i observed. Although best coming from a Pakistani.
