Ramadan in Arabic (Altough its written Ramazan but read Ramadan) In Urdu when we write same we read it Z so Ramazan.

Thanked...

the reason I asked this question is, our european customer operating from gulf used the word Ramadan in our call...I heard it for the first time, I always knew it as Ramazan as called in India..

Nothing wrong with this law, it's only in Public. And considering you're not allowed to be anything but Muslim in public, how can someone have problem with this law?

It is not about this, but there are other reasons too.

This has nothing to do with Islam. Non-Muslims - and even Muslims who choose not to fast - can eat and drink all they want. Saudi nonsense.

I agree with this. I still find it weird how one can have a problem with this law, it is only in Public. Considering you can't wear a headscarf in public in some countries, nothing wrong with this

Saudis are allowed to do whatever they want in their country , we may or may not agree with it but it won't change a thing.

There is nothing to discuss in this thread and i fear it becoming a troll fest , so its being shut.
