Saudi Arabia accused Iran of sponsoring terror and undermining regional stability, as a diplomatic spat between both countries escalated Saturday over the kingdom's execution of a prominent Shiite cleric.
"The Iranian regime is the last regime in the world that could accuse others of supporting terrorism, considering that (Iran) is a state that sponsors terror, and is condemned by the United Nations and many countries," said a foreign ministry spokesman in a statement carried by the official SPA news agency.
The statement was the second after the kingdom's foreign ministry announced it had summoned the Iranian ambassador in Riyadh to protest an "aggressive" statement by Tehran on the execution of Saudi Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.
"Iran's regime has no shame as it rants on human rights matters, even after it executed hundreds of Iranians last year without a clear legal basis," said the statement
If it wasnt for my ancestors you would still be worshipping fire like a dumb ***. I see embracing Islam hasnt knock any sense into you either. Must be some genetic disorder.

Situation in region is the best evidence . ISIS , Al Qaeda , Boko Haram , Taliban , Al Shabab are not Shias but Sunni extremists . Shias are not the ones that use suicide attacks every day , behead people , do Sex Jihad , burn people alive , drown people in cages etc , This comes from Sunni extremists who follow Saudi Arabian version of Islam .
Shias are attacked all around the world . And yet bunch of people call themselves Muslim but lie because of their fanaticism . Shame on you .
In Iraq , ISIS started a war and killed 1700 Shia youth in a single day .
In Syria minority Shias are the first common target for every terrorist group and right now more than 50000 Shia civilians are besieged in Idlib and Aleppo .
In Yemen more than 5000 Shia civilians have been killed by Saudis and their allies .
In Jordan Shias have no right to exist .
In Afghanistan Taliban slaughters Shia minorities alongside the corrupted government regularly .
In Bahrain people are killed , jailed and crushed by a puppet who doesn't even know what an election is like his Saudi Arabian and Qatari allies .
And now in Saudi Arabia ...
The truth is that , Sunnis in general tend to be more extremist and dangerous than Shias . A Shia extremist might end up in cursing Sunni characters , self flagellation , etc but a Sunni extremist ends up in ISIS and Al Qaeda and Taliban .
This is due to the views in both sects , Sunni Islam in general not only sees itself as the rightful sect ( which is OK and respectable ) but tends not to tolerate other sects which leads Sunnis to have a common interest in Takfiring other sects ( declaring them heretics / infidels ) .
This is the main reason that you see following things among Sunnis which can not be found in other sects ( or is not considerable and dangerous ) :
1 . Interest in joining Takfiri / Salafi / Wahhabi ideologies and founding groups like ISIS ( in several countries such as Afghanistan , Iraq , Syria , Yemen , Egypt , Libya ... ) , Al Qaeda ( globally ) , Boko Haram ( Nigeria and other African countries ) , Taliban ( Afghanistan and Pakistan ) , Al Shabab ( Yemen and African countries ) .
2. Not tolerating and respecting what other sects especially Shias believe and declaring them infidels / heretics . A good example is Shia shrines that have been attacked several times and has led many Sunnis to call Shias grave worshipers who do not believe in God or have made partners for him .
There are many pictures published by Sunni extremists in Iraq and Syria in which Shias are called infidels ( not even heretics as the term heretic is referred to other enemy Salafi groups ) .

A Saudi foreign affairs official said on Saturday that Iran was the “last in the world who could accuse others of supporting terrorism,” following Tehran’s response to the execution of a prominent Shiite preacher.
“The Iranian regime is the last regime in the world that could accuse others of supporting terrorism, considering that (Iran) is a state that sponsors terror, and is condemned by the United Nations and many countries,” said the official in a statement on the official SPA news agency.
The source also spoke of Iran’s “blatant intervention in the region's countries, [which] covers Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.”
The execution of Nimr was criticized by Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a prominent Iranian cleric and a member of the Assembly of Experts, who predicted repercussions following the preacher's execution.
Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari strongly condemned Riyadh for executing Nimr in statements carried by the official IRNA news agency. Parliament speaker Ali Larijani also condemned Nimr's death.
Saudi Arabia's embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad were attacked by Iranian protesters early Sunday following the execution of a Saudi Shiite preacher along with 46 others.
Definitely, no one can spot Sunni or Shia.......We all should pray that sanity comes to an end soon.
I have read somewhere that we Muslims revolve around Ka'aba anti clockwise which is positive. Radiations emit from there. Don't know whether it is true or not but if we Look at the world map, Holy Ka'aba is at the center of world.
In Sha Allah...you will perform Hajj very soon. Always remember PDF members in your prayers. Cheers, Have a nice day.
Regardless of Nimr's threats and crimes, His wife, stricken with cancer, was flown to New York hospital for care by Saudi Gov and she stayed there for nine months at the government's expense. The Saudi Gov provides a full-funding scholarship for his son to study in the USA and get a better education there. I bet if Nimr were an Ahwazian guy, He or his family would never be treated as good as he and his family are being treated in Saudi..
Nimr was not executed because he was Shia, but his actions were the reason.
Saudis have assassinated this guy in their media first, they couldn't care les about Iranian reaction, this verdict is actually for interior consumption, as to say to the radicals, here we are killing some shia cleric not only terrorists
Iran has already lost on the oil game..now they will lose on the market share as well...because one side saudi is forcing oil price crash for Iran and its allies..otherwise they have stepped up the political game...the pressure is on
Iran has been exporting nearly 1-1.5 million barrels for 3 years now and we have been living with it, Saudis have been exporting about 9 million barrels a day. If we assume oil decreased from 100$ to 30$, it means Saudis are losing $630 millions a day while Iran is losing nearly $87 millons a day. What a genius plan, only Saudis are smart enough to come up with such brilliant ideas.
