Saudi Arabia demonstrates full military capability

Saudi Arabia has recently released a video of the largest war game ever conducted in the history of the country that took place on different geographical locations simulating different war scenarios demonstrating its readiness. The Saudi Army of all branches participated in this drill using most of its power machines from defense systems, artilleries, air force, tanks, navy to special operations and so one. This thread is strictly for militarily discussion. Other off topic posts will be reported.

Well it was few months back and for first time KSA officially showed it has Ballistic Missiles more these kind of exercises should be conducted by Saudi Armed Forces it will keep them battle ready

I wanna believe that Saudi military is decent, maybe not well-experienced..may be not top class NATO standard..but still a military that you don't wanna mess with (Unless you are U.S, offcourse. Cuz they can run-over any military)

But professionals, highly-qualified people with military background, and retired officers who have first hand experience of Saudi military say very demeaning things about Saudis, lambast their non-military-professional attitude towards military issues, their lack of proper training and so on.

So I don't know what to believe.

Saudis do have good weapons and all that a military can dream off..but in today's world, weapons are useless. Armies are useless.

What matters is creation of a well-trained military machine. Something along the lines of Israel. Saudis have every advantage over Israel (Men, numbers, equipment)...but have they created a 21st century military machine that can rain hell on potent opponents?

I don't know..and as I said, professionals/experts don't seem to think so.

That's why I want @gambit to explain/elaborate on this further.

Most people are still stuck in their manipulated perceptions by the media for decades, they still see and think in their minds that Saudi Arabia is a land of camels and Saudis are Bedouins, this blinds their minds to the realities of the world today and mostly the Arab world. It is a good thing for enemies, since when they try themselves they get a shock treatment, like Usrael in 1973.
Saudis with super sophisticated weapons are and should be the best in the world, it it is not to forget that Islam spread from there, its sacred land, and our prophet peace be upon him originated from there too.These two facts alone acknowledge the importance and the true power of Saudi Arabia and also I might say the fighting spirit with good character.
