Saudi Arabia confirms that it will deploy troops to Syria

....

On topic: sending troops in another Arab country without their permission is called invasion...

o_O

It is not an invasion. It is only justice. > 80 of the population (23 million) to Syria is Sunni and she was a slave to small Alawite minority (1,5 million) which concentrated all powers, policy, economic, military during > 45 years. This minority which with the help of Russia and Iran was massacred, tortured, burned, pulverized, raped over 300 000 people (men, women and children).

Au revoir.....

Avec plaisir mon sucre ! Tu vas adorer le spectacle ! ^ ^

Saudi Last ride. Can't beat yemeni rag tag warbands in their own backyard, coming to syria to face ISIS and russia-syria ?

Actually,ISIS isn't that powerful. It's just the current incompetent forces fighting (on the ground) it that give the impression they are strong.

Ready for war habibi ? :victory:

I go make some popcorn

Indeed,it's going to be interesting. :pop:

Russian Air Force will welcome Saudis.

We will see whether Saudis will perform any better against Russian Air Force than they have done against Houthis in Yemen.

Is it a smart move by KSA? NO.

Am I happy that KSA wants to finally deploy its own troops for its own interests? Yes.

The problem is that the Saudis will be eaten up by Iranian proxies. They don't have the experience. And Iranians are not that experienced either, especially in front of Pakistan, but they have gotten their hands dirty. This will be a Saudi blunder.

What about you? Or you will be as pathetic as you were in Yemen?
What about "Assad is a red line"? What about your holy shrines in Syria? What about your brothers in Syria whom will be left for their miserable fate?

It's judgement day..

Let's see who is going to walk the talk.

You have been talking about removal of Assad on this very forum since 2012, it means 4 years. Aren't you tired? Regardless of whether Assad eventually resigns or not, 4 years have passed and you did not achieve what you were dreaming about 4 years ago and you are still doing it.

this decision they took came very late.. they should have entered syria earlier like b4 russian entered in syria... but still a good decision to end the dictator government and liberate syrian people..

ISIS is common threat for both Iran and Saudi Arab. I think sane approach is mechanism to adopt coordinated efforts against non state actors.

You can't win anything through these proxy wars

You know that this time is different.
He and his father have been in power for 45 years long, so waiting for 4 or 6 years for his removal isn't that long I guess, this is nothing in nations' age. Assad without Iranian, Shiite militias worldwide and Russian support wouldn't have survived two years. Last year Iran and it's Shiite mercenaries gave up on their ability to rescue Assad and ran to Moscow to beg Russia to directly step in, and it did. That prolonged Assad's time in power for more two years. Now, it's time and nobody can help you keeping him in power anymore.
