You are absolutely right. I did not like how the animation stereotyped. But I just wanted to show the reputation they got. Not saying this YouTube video as fact. (it is just a YouTube video for god's sake).

Getting companies to hire Saudis is a challenge itself. Since Saudi Arabia is more expensive than Foreign workers countries of origin naturally Saudis demand higher wages and lower hours. But companies have gotten too used to high profits they won't budge about it. They don't want to trade someone who works 12-14 hours a day for 1200 Riyals for some who works 8 hours a day for 3500 Riyals. But lately there has been more demand by foreign workers human rights etc. to reduce the hours and increase the pay and since companies themselves pay for the foreign workers vissa they will find it much cheaper to get Saudis for the work.

So in effect as these outrage bursts in these countries etc. happen more and more and the more Foreign workers are getting to the same level as Saudis the more it is likely for Saudis to get their jobs that was taken from them by unfair competition.

Actually Pakistanis are not associated with crime at all in here. The general saying is "How long are we going to keep getting workers from India and Bangladesh?? And why is our government not doing anything to counter this??"

Its not for no reason that Indians are the biggest expat group in Saudi Arabia. And would you deny that Pakistani passengers are the most checked on any Saudi Airport? That the largest number of people captured or beheaded on charges of drug smuggling belong to Pakistan?

There may be a general feeling alienation towards foreigners because of lack of employment oppurtunities, but when it comes to crimes, facts speak for themselves.


We are not talking about a popularity contest here. Just basic facts. Despite the much larger Indian expat community in GCC countries, their crime rate is very low. Infact, Yemenis and Somalis are probably much more involved in crime as a percentage of their expat community that even Bangladeshis.

P.S.: I have lived in KSA for 15+ years and still have some family there, so I am telling from personal experience as well.

Just a quick update on the famous multiple business visit visas..yet it has been opened for the Indian as we issued it to someone and the person arrived yesterday. However, each entry is limited to 14 days only. Pakistanis are only associated with drug peddling and that too if they are arriving from Peshawar or any interior city.

On the other hand, Indians are associated with

1. Commercial Fraud
2. Financial Fraud
3. Visa Fraud
4. Phone and Email scams
5. Banking Scams
6. Investment Scams
7. Academic Fraud (false degrees and certificates)
8. Credit Card thefts ( maxing our a credit card and running back to India)
9. Running away with company money to India...

You decide who has the higher leverage ;-)
