The basic question is can saudis do anything about kashmir? The answer is No. They are useless in entire game of power on international stage. They are irrelevant when it comes to kashmir issue. As a matter of fact there is no diplomatic solution to Kashmir so even if Saudis have bent themselves backward it doesn't matter. It might be good or bad optics for now but it's irrelevant. OIC is useless not even a single decision by has been made in thsi organisation which actually gave any benefit to muslims countries. Saudis and Gulfians have turned OIC into a massive propaganda mouthpiece. When Turkey and Iran two major muslims countries were missing then this summit was pointless in the first place.

Do you even know what Treaty of Hudaibiyah is?

1.The Muslims shall return this time and come back next year, but they shall not stay in Makkah for more than three days.

2. They shall not come back armed but can bring with them swords only sheathed in scabbards and these shall be kept in bags.

3. War activities shall be suspended for ten years, during which both the parties will live in full security and neither will raise sword against the other.

We as Indians and Non-Indians are appreciative of all the OIC member states like Saudis UAE Oman and the rest who have presented your countries highest honours to our PM and allowing our foreign minister to give the keynote speech at the OIC.

It will take small steps to wean away from the failed Kashmir fantasy that Pakistan has suckered the OIC into but the dawning reality is a welcome step

Kashmir issue, bilateral, trilateral or just unilateral? War is not an option for you in current scenario.

It's not an issue at all, and certainly not a bilateral one. We are compelled to deal it as a bilateral issue because of some wrong/immature/miscalculated moves of our post independence establishment ( establishment means elected government not as in Pakistan).

As of now we are not considering any war with any one except for our self defense. We are approaching the policy of waiting for the suitable time to reclaim our land.
