What's new

Satellite Imagery of SU-30s and SAMs Deployed In Srinagar and front line bases.

This could be a better option (toy f-16 with horrible speed) about 70$ or more only

1) range

2) ease of signal and or data link hack/jam

3) time it takes to reach the target

you can see its high speed and all functioning like real jet. you can even use it for recon after modification

* as it is fast and little so can be like mosquito to humans
* enemy may fire missiles at if but all in vain. it gives a strong rcs due to metal body but missile can't meet such small thing.
* there are alot of frequency channels on what it operates, they can be changed regularly and modified to prevent Jamming

4) target identificat

Seriously

its just a toy then. you mean use it to destroy enemy ????? definitely not.

i mean just use them to recon, dodge, waste enemy missiles only.

by the way it makes a louder sound like fighter jet too

Enemy can jam a thousand of them at will
They have very limited range and almost 0 payload carrying ability

its size is nearly equal to a kitchen stove length only

Enemy can jam a thousand of them at will

use different frequency every time you use.
moth balled minds of indians only fire sams, they dont watch whats coming.

i never heard of jamming equipment present in sirinagar

ALSO u can modify them to work on their memory not rc.
just send them in, enemy will dedinitely fire at them. no rc jamming and so on .....

must watch this speed of rc jet fighter

insane

I have no doubt we have a rich shared history on this continent, but surely you must consider, in the face of ever changing scenarios and fast shifting world, historical events the further they are, the less they matter (practically)on present events.
There is an old adage: History always repeats its self.

Or sabotage them through SSW or Freedom fighters and later convert them into our own assets.
This is noob army general talking and all my war experience just comes from Red Alert 2 and Command and Conquer Generals (dont laugh ok :partay:).... but wouldn't it be easier to just destroy the runways of these airbases rather than targeting the planes?

What use are these shiny toys going to be if they cannot even takeoff?

It does repeat itself, in the sense that we(humans) will continue to kill each other in the name of religion/race/territory etc till judgement day.

Adages are best left to philosophical discussions and have no bearing on practical on the ground events.

Good to have a sane Indian voice here.

range of sd-10 is 80-100km
while r-77-1 is upto 120km

The Russian AAMs published ranges are against 5M square at Max and limitations are there in different scenario. Given that Pak JF17s have less RCS and thick jamming options especially within or near Pak territory the ranges of Indian AAMs are not of much concern.

Conflict, between India and Pakistan, has very deep historical and psychological roots and would not be settled easily, without its due quota of violence, destruction and carnage, which has not yet been exhausted to its limits. I don't think that there is an escape from it, unless something very unusual and extraordinary changes the course of future. There may be many dimensions of this discord and hostility, which have not yet been imagined and conceived, and are hidden in the dense fog of future.
