KARACHI: Chairman Traders Action Committee Siddiq Memon has urged the government to take notice of the humiliating treatment being meted out to Pakistani star Shoaib Malik in India, warning the traders community may launch a protest in this regard.
In a statement issued here on Monday, the TAC chairman said the government should take immediate notice of the humiliating treatment given to Shoaib in India.
Memon warned that Indian goods would be boycotted at trade centers if any action was taken against the cricketer.
He said the Indian government should provide security to Shoaib and remove the hurdles being created ahead of his wedding.
Otherwise, Indian goods available at trade centers would be set on fire, angry Memon said.
Shoaib Malik is currently in Indian city of Hyderabad Deccan, where he is due to wed Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
However, a case has been filed by an Indian girl Ayesha Siddiqi against him leveling allegation of fraud and cheating.
