Actually the US, India and Russia relations make quiet an interesting case study for university projects.

US clearly wants to make India a super power in the region so it can stand up to China and take away trade form china which makes sense for then India to tow the US line and be a yes man in the reigon, a bit like Israel in the middle east. But what does India get out of trading with Russia for gear we all know isnt really worth it, if someone says s400 or be another super power in the reigion it makes no sense to choose the russians.

Then i think maybe India will do 4 to 5 billion of millitary buys every year just so Pakistan cant do any millitary business with Russia.

The Indians are realizing how fvcked up it's to be a slave of daddy America. America is not an easy master. Just to put things into perspective, this is a race that thinks that owning black human beings as slaves is their God-given biblical right.

America is willing to offer an arm and a leg to the Indians at the moment. In exchange, they expect total obedience from India to counter China. Also, the Americans expect the Indians to buy American and American only. Yet the cunning Indians are opting for Russian weapons and basically showing a middle finger to the Yanks. Also, to pi$$ off the Yanks further the Indians acquired the very thing the Yanks have warned others not to buy LOL The Indians are signalling to the Americans that they aren't putting their eggs in one basket. This is interesting. That much has to be said.
