Would you give Taliban the same right to let itself call Muslims, esp when their 'Mujahids' go out and spread terror saying that they are doing it in the name of Islam? My thinking is, when the world begins to generalize, you would end up wasting your time trying to make the world understand that no there is difference.

Has anyone even labelled Taliban as Non-Muslims. The Taliban and Al-Qaeda are synonymous with religion and they are the ones who have caused ot much harm but the Ulema considers them to be the reals followers of Islam (JUI said it).

Ahmadis are mostly non-violent, or so have I heard, so it is not as big a problem. But then would come other people who might be really screwed up in the head, and malign the name of Islam, as it is happening many a places today. How can you give just anyone a right to call themselves Muslim when they practice something completely different?

But the taliban and the other dozen militant groups are already here.

I have only seen a couple of videos of Ghamdi, I am by and large not interested in religion on debating level.

Its futile to discuss religion because in our part of the world, people tend to be very rigid and sensitive about their religion.

I actually think that religion should be restricted to your house and worship places, it does not have any purpose in a developed society.

It was the pillar of our modern structure and our society has become self dependent.

He was not the trial lawyer, Jinnah was merely brought as the lawyer in appeal based on the fact that the evidence against Ilam Din was from biased sources.

Strange i was taught that a righteous life was one lived where you were critical of your self sadly these days it seems to mean being critical of others, but then it is always easier to see the sins of another than your own.
