Sajeeb Wajed Joy, what he is up to

According to the poster above Bangladesh is at the risk of becoming the next Afghanistan? What do you guys say: @idune, @PlanetSoldier @the just @Loki @Luffy 500 @animelive

People plotting to make BD next Afghanistan know it better than us, this poster could be one of them. After BAL departs from power it's sure we'll see bombing, JMB etc. again because it's in BAL, india interest, last time USA was also with them, so this time they could be with them too.

See? That's the reason why I despise those men in white. Utterly emotional beings wracked by indecision. They can easily get coerced by God knows who.

Getting the AL out of power wouldn't mean a happy ending. Mark my words, if the BNP comes to power (somehow), it'll be anarchy Version 2.0.

That's clever isn't it. When there's bombings under BAL it's BAL & RAWs fault, when it's under BNP it's also BAL/RAWs fault.

Do your heroes do anything wrong?. Was the truck full of arms caught BALs too? They had their own truck seized right..

Why don't the great minds of BD such as the earlier posters apply their extra-smart theories to BNP / Jamaat too? it takes honesty and courage to question your heroes which clearly u lot have neither of.

As a proud Bangali, it is good to see strong, healthy debate amongst my fellow countrymen.

But whatever our views on Mujib / Zia and their descendants we as a nation must always maintain a red-line when it comes to extreme religiosity. Pakistan is our perfect example, our twin country where good intentions of a religious, moral code have been abused and abused until religion has become but a mutilated tool that is exploited by some of the vilest creatures on earth.

We can now see that Pak leaders (Zia ul Haq) who started of with a well-intentioned agenda to make their country more religious were incredibly naïve - and in the long run have caused more damage to their country than India, Israel and the rest of the world put together. By prioritising religion over education, we have seen a slow degradation of the Pak populous, to the stage where today everyone is taking pot-shots at their country. People have been made so naïve that a large majority will even support a savage, illiterate group against the very state and it's constitution.

Today a short read of PDF's Pak war threads can give us an idea of the turmoil and confusion Pak people are going through because of the seeds laid down at that time. Just when other, far older muslim regions in the world are awakening to the danger of allowing mullahs free reign and of mixing religion and politics, Bangladesh is heading in the opposite direction.

Thankfully, it is not too late for BD. We have a society where education is valued, we have a strong literacy rate and our poverty rate is decreasing. We are also by nature not a bloodthirsty race (a murder rate of 2.6% one of the lowest in any third world country). The brutal nature of Islamic extremists is alien to us. So we have a chance to stop ourselves from falling into the abyss. If we don't stop the rise of the mullah now, our future generations will curse us for eternity.

So please love who you want, hate who you want but do not allow anyone to elevate their politics using a monopoly on divinity.

The Cold War is long over. Get over it.

Well, Jamaat Pakistan recently made some controversial comments regarding the killing of a senior Taliban commander. A drone killed him. Many Pakistanis here didn't take it too well.

Pakistan? Bangladesh? They are not the same are they? Two entirely different equations which have nothing in common.

Their problem is not just religious interpretation per say. Their problem are those tribals who are creating problems in the north western regions of Pakistan. Their elders think they are kings of the road. Not to mention a bunch of thugs and lunatics in pajamas.

And last time I remember, we dealt a bloody blow to those Chakmas (who don't happen to be Muslims) with minimal resources. It was at least effective enough to cripple the Shanti Bahini along with their ilks.
Do your heroes do anything wrong?. Was the truck full of arms caught BALs too? They had their own truck seized right...

Nah, it was BNP.

" the Cold War is long over. Get over it. "

I'm not sure what you mean by this but that is exactly the position I have taken. Afghanistan was mentioned by the other poster, iv only mentioned it to counter his point.

I don't believe bd has a cold war with anyone but I'm not sure why some people here are trying to act like we're in one. Blaming RAW etc for our problems when our real problem is social corruption, the remaining poverty and growing extremism.

I mention Pakistan because we both started at the same time, we are both majority Muslim countries who are vulnerable to the same problems. As you mention, BD's Jamaat leaders are parroting Pak Jamaat leaders position. So we have much in common which is why we should take lessons from their situation.

Also im not sure who you meant by men in white?

No one ever denied problems like social corruption, poverty, extremism, etc.

India is an emerging nation with intentions to have its own clout of power. And yes, they have their interests where relevant in Bangladesh.

Read my post on #17, and you may get a picture as to why some folks here are antagonistic toward India:
What is India planning for Bangladesh? | Page 2

They have their interests behind the AL. And prefer them so.

Also im not sure who you meant by men in white?

Imams. They are not reliable in my opinion.

Mia bhai,I really don't know what to make of that post you mentioned.:o: If some moronic brain dead actually believe that BD would become another Afghanistan, its better I kill myself right now rather then dying off laughing.
There is a chance of snow ball in hell, maybe.but BD under Taliban is a fairy tale that morons are trying their best to sell to the world.let them ,who cares?apart from some stupido AL we all know which way the wind is blowing.

Well, what they say is under the wrong context. The Taliban of Afghanistan and Pakistan are nothing more than tribals vying for power. Classic tribalism.

Nonetheless, the Islamists in BD have been awfully immature in the way they countered the AL. Ranting about irrelevant things.

What is worth thinking over is what would happen if the AL loses power and the BNP comes up? It'll be the same vicious cycle all over again. And Awamis can be pretty violent too. Not to mention their media empire (that was partly how they gained power from the BNP).

Adding insult to injury, keeping an opposition like the AL around would increase the probability of lapses in national security. The Indians are an opportunistic lot. It was the BNP who allowed those wretched foreign diplomats to pander in our affairs during their time. Ultimately, their lust for money became their own undoing.

I seriously wonder if they had learned the lessons of the past.

Joy, the fan boy is here to grab power. He single handedly destroyed the WB finance prospect for the Padma Bridge. He is the main beneficiary of the 4% consultancy commission earmarked for Abul, the minister.

He may have a higher degree in education, but he is no better than another fan boy Tareque Rahman. Both are equally disqualified, but the latter has at least been with his countrymen longer than the former.

Tarique is studying Law in the UK.

He also wrote a book :omghaha:

Indeed, I always hold BNP more responsible for what happened, at least they can be considered Bangladeshi's at heart and part of and from our people, while the others are not, so there is nothing to be expected from them.

So BNP's, meaning KZ's, incompetence is the main problem because of which Bangladesh is still out of luck.

In BAL/BNP there are no heroes, all are villains. And I must try to stick to the truth. That trucks full of arms were arrested by then govt., was that BAL govt.? It's BAL game to make false flag operations, recently there are proofs of vandalizing Hindu temples, persecuting minority, demolishing Shaheed Minar carried out by BAL. Also a BAL killer put on pajma, punjabi tupi while he killed another BAL thug to make it a Jamat crime, it's good there was that CC camera. Still if people don't have eyes, that's different problem. Seems like all these when caught they are BAL and when not they are superbly portrayed as Jamat/Shibir, still they claim they have brain!

I honestly don't see BNP as a credible force to put the AL out of business once and for all. It'll be business as usual if the BNP come to power.

There are two ways (in my opinion) to put the AL out of the equation once and for all:

1. The military: They can permanently deal with the Sheikhs. Quick and easy. Never to be seen or heard from again. Forced exile would be the best option.

2. The civilian population: They can rise up themselves against the AL through frustration of their failures and failed policies.

Not to mention their classical misinformation campaigns:
Half of school-age children not enrolled despite Awami claims of 100% enrollment!

^^^^I literally loled at that one.

Can they overthrow the AL if they really want to? Yes, they can. But unlike the military option, it'll be slow and perhaps bloody (The Sheikhs won't step down without a fight).

But the achievement would be long lasting. And not one of those situations where other people do things for them.

The civilian tax payer owns the military and every equipment they use. They obey us. And that's how it should be. Not the other way around.

This is all of-course in the event that the AL declares itself as the winner in a snap election without a caretaker government.

I always wondered what Khaleda Zia would look like without her makeup.

.
Despite all the conspiracy theories in this thread (all jamaati crimes are done by BAL in disguise!) Even a mental case would agree that jamaat is a growing force in BD currently.

If so may I ask what the ultimate outcome is?

One day ji will form the government. When it has the government the next step is islamisation of civil society (possibly the armed forces too).

For all you geniuses I would point you to the fact that in Islam there are no half-measures, once these people have power it is incumbent upon them to establish sharia law. You might think im going too far but that is the endgame.

I appreciate that my words are probably falling on deaf ears as a Pak forum obviously attracts jamaati type bangalis - but one day when ur daughter needs a female doctor u will curse the backward mentality u are supporting.
