i still find it hard to digest that over 60% of the entire human race, no matter if they were even saints here, will end up in hell later on and even the worst scum amongst the muslims will find a place in heaven after suffering for his sins simply because of his faith. it's kind of unfair, to be honest.
Respectfully you sir call yourself a Muslim and yet you do not even have the answer to such a basic theological question on Islam?
"Knowledge knocks on the door of action. If it receives a reply, it stays, otherwise it departs." - Sufyaan Ath Thawree
Allah SWT is the Creator (Judge of judges), and one of the Characteristics of the Creator is fairness so how can He be unfair and still be the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
"And never would We punish until We sent a messenger." - Quran 17:15
It is specifically mentioned in the Holy Quran countless times that the sin of Shirk will only be applicable to him when the message of truth has been provided to him with
clear proofs.
"They will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with
clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes." They will reply, "Then supplicate [yourselves], but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error." - Quran 40/50
"And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with
clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people . . ." - Quran 10-13
"Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them
clear evidence . . ." - Quran 98:1
"[Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with
clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel." - Quran 7:105
So for those who have not received the message with clear proofs and clear understandings, their case is with Allah SWT but according to most scholars and according to this hadith they would still be tested on the Day of Resurrection.
"Four will have proofs (in their favor) on the Day of Standing:
(1) A deaf man who could not hear anything;
(2) a fool (who could not understand anything);
(3) a feebly old man; and
(4) a man who died in the fatrah (the period between prophets).
As for the deaf man, then he will say: 'My Lord, Islam came and I did not hear anything.' And as for the fool, then he will say, 'My Lord, Islam came and the children were throwing dung at me.' And as for the feebly old man, then he will say, 'My Lord, Islam came and I did not understand anything.' And as for the one who died in the fatrah (period between prophets), then he will say, 'My Lord, no messenger from you came to me.' So He (Allah) will take oaths from them that they will obey Him (in what He is about to request from them), so it (an order) will be sent to them: 'Enter the Fire!' And verily by Him in whose Hand is my soul, if they entered it, it will be cool and soothing." - Musnad (16301)
BTW I am fully aware that religious discussions are not allowed on this forum yet when I see some secular who is twisting the words of a preacher (Saeed Anwar) who is in no way and never considered himself to be a scholar and when I read some individuals like the one I qouted who have little knowledge on the theology of Islam, I will be compelled to give a clarification and a response, my question is why are moderators of this forum allowing such threads?
