Ariane V is german. The entire engine is build in Oberpfaffenhofen. The SRB are french and thats it.

It has never done this. That was the sovietunion. Russia did not leave LEO since its formation in 1990. Its only Mars mission "Phobos-Grunt" failed and did crash back into earth

Landing on Venus is easy. The thick atmosphere generates so much drag that its easy to softland. But what for? Its a non important target right now.
