Rustom armed with HeliNa

Yes, thats why I was saying I would be much more happy, if DRDO tested X-band SAR.

Nothing, no development. Only hope is Israel, If India want to equip Rustom-1 with SAR pod, and that is important for recce.

Otherwise, miniaturize version of C-Band SAR used in RISAT-1 definitely go in Rustom-H.

that is because USAF don't care about the life of civilins in other countries. they even drops bombs even if there is civilians near to their HVT

who would have know about it? we are already using UAVs in that area. it a remote place, there is not even a proper mortor way. no one will know if we use these drones in that dense jungles.

Now HC rulings are coming that being a maoist is not a crime.
Perhaps that may change in future. But using a HELINA on them will be a disaster you cant cover that.

I understand what you mean. The predator drone strikes deep inside Pakistan coupled with terror attacks, it's really difficult to say.

i feel sorry for your comprehension issues

Will arm Rustom 1 bigger cousin too.

CH-3 and rustom 1 are based on Light Canard Research Aircraft (LCRA)...

In short you are trying to say that India also 'copied it' from another sys. ..... I like the 'originality' in your post ....

Yeah great Kargil like terrain, still tanks are rolling. You have Tiger Hill too in Waziristan?

BTW, how it feels in invading your own country, and be proud on it? Must be good?

This comment wins the stupid comment of the day award. Check Zarb e azb thread to see what kind of mountainous terrain PA is fighting and every hill is similar to Tiger hill in Tirah valley and adjacent areas.

And last time I checked, there are insurgencies going on in your own country and invading kashmir with lakhs of soldiers in 90's. Were you proud as well on invading Indian occupied kashmir ?

You have to remember that we were fighting foreign forces aka Pakistan army who infiltrated in the name of mujahedin so we reacted swiftly and launched operation to clean up the area. We were not killing our own people in the name of operation but killing our enemy with whatever we had in our arsenal. So your comparison to Zarb-e-Azb with kargil OP is futile.

We are countering maoists with state police forces and central paramilitary forces and also we are helping those people who left maoism and wants to join mainstay and we are getting success as many cadres giving up their guns.

God forbid if India had deployed Army to fight maoists we would have been in a civil war now.

I mean there is a limit to stupidity. I clearly said, Kargil terrain is akin to N.waziristan and Tirah valley and when you are in mountainous terrain and terrorist have upper ground, peaks and hills occupied. You employ everything in your arsenal to dislodge them from their position of strength.

Thinking logically and with common sense in not forte of indians I guess.

And Does Maoists fighting in a similar terrain and having upper hand as TTP had while fighting PA ? Do a little search on it before replying to my post and shooting tangents here and there.

Copied? Rustom-I's basic design is derived from the CSIR-NAL's light canard research aircraft (LCRA). In 1983-84, CSIR-NAL started the project to fabricate an all-composite aircraft using a kit bought from Rutan in USA. It was ready by the end of 1986 and made its maiden flight on 26 Febraury 1987.

Correct me if I am wrong. Helina is laser guided and is beam riding. So how is it top attack mode possible ? Also can Rustom I paint the target for itself or dose it need boots on ground for that ??

In 1983-84, CSIR-NAL started the project to fabricate an all-composite aircraft using a kit bought from Rutan in USA. The project led by R B Damania, gave CSIR-NAL teams very valuable insights in building airworthy composite structures. The aircraft, called the Light Canard Research Aircraft (LCRA), was ready by the end of 1986. The LCRA, with Wg Cdr Askoka, HAL’s Chief Test Pilot, made its maiden flight on 26 Febraury 1987. After the LCRA success, CSIR-NAL seriously started the preparatory work to design and build a light aircraft.

Indian authorities are not Chinese ones who never thanks the origin. CH-3/Burraq based on Rutan ,so is RUSTOM.
