Russia's Stealth Su-57 Is a Beast, But Can Russia Afford It?

So it means land is of no use. Actually land can become a burden to control if policoes not right. USSR could not control its huge land and thus divided. Also most of russia land is useless and frozen. Land alone is nothing.

Modern technology like nuclear power and greenhouse can easily transform Siberia into a prosperous patch of land supporting millions of people.

That requires massive investment, something russia cant.

. . .
Haha but mismanaged. Opposition is getting stronger and putin older.

Next Russian president will be far more nationalistic than Putin. Since 1991 when Russian empire flag was restored Russia has been getting more nationalistic.

Lets see what happens. There can also be a crisis of leadership. Is russian establishment strong enough.
With such a huge land, russia should not be nationalistic, rather be open to migrants and populate central russia.

Russia is peaceful country. No need to fight big super powers like China or the US.
do you know what happened in future, you can't predict future geopolitical maps of the world, that Russia will not involved any conflict in near or far future, you can't predict few future seconds that you gonna live or die and I SAY EXPECTED ENEMY/ENEMIES @Austin Powers

I’ll say one thing for the guy, he comes back every time with a different interesting name

Expected enemies. Correct. If another Hitler takes power in America and launches WW3. But highly unlikely.

Don't blabber, and tell what is the First Hitler in USA, and why you think Russian always remains innocents, There will be future Hitler anywhere from the world or he will be originated from Russia, why you always blame USA for Evil @Austin Powers

. . .
Then you're in your delusional, Hilter like personally will emerge at any time/ anywhere in the, whether in Russia/USA/China/EU or in any third world country @Austin Powers

In this day and age information travels really quick. As soon as there is a coup it's discovered and put down immediately. See how the 2016 Turkey coup worked out. If some rogue general tries to coup in Russia or China or the US it immediately gets discovered and put down. So the chance of another Hitler is extremely unlikely.

Could we have a new forum policy blacklisting National Interest trash?

The SU-57 is in a similar price range to the SU-35, actually cheaper at around 35-42 million dollars following a state mandated reduction of profit margins for the jet manufacturer. The benefits of a state-owned defence industry.

The MIC job should be to supply the state with high-quality weapons at minimal profit. They can markup the price for export orders to whatever they deem suitable. Not the other way round like they do in the west. This is how you maximise your defence budget without getting into debt.

The Su-57 is more expensive than the Su-35

The Su-57 is more expensive than the Su-35

Marginally so. SU-35 is only a stop gap for full production SU-57 and will be moved towards an export-driven product like the F-16 when RUAF looses interest in procuring more Flankers.
