This makes no sense. Russia and China are axis of evil buddies. Why would Russia fight China? May be the author intended to say Japan instead?

Any country including China would come under US sanctions if it tries to buy military equipment from Russia.

S-500 is a medium/short range ballistic missile interceptor, much like a land based SM-6.

If S-500 was deployed then its target will be Russian immediate neighbour, which is Japan, North and South Korea, India, Pakistani and China.

S-500 will not be useful for missile launched from US mainland.....

Yessss, China has also purchased S 400 and S 300 variants to counter Russia. I am following your posts, they are making my days.

There is a new US law which says that if you buy Russian Weapons,
the US will do what they can to make You feel miserable.
Basically You cannot be cozy with Russia and the US at the same time.
The US government wants to exempt India, but have to convince Congress.

u.s sanction not work against china as initial outcome of trade war is damaging for u.s economy and there is severe price increase of daily use goods in u.s so china can buy anything from russia

India can surely buy from the French wherever they can but US is the only one which can offer equipment like F-35, Guardian Dornes, C-17 etc.

No, not quite. It's more like a mix of the SM-6 and PAC-3 ERINT with both anti-aircraft and anti-ballistic capabilities. The Arrow-3 is analogous to the HQ-19 or HQ-26 instead.

The Indian Air Force has stated it is not interested in the F-35,
Drones can be bought from Israel, and the C-17 production has terminated.
