I thought to make thought provoking content on what would your nation do in times of war, if ran out of microprocessors for equipment? Or any other vital resource required in urgency? In case of Pakistan where & how would we get our supplies to crucial resources.

just buy enough of them in peace time and store... chips made out of sand does not rot.

India has i486DX2 stocked up in lacs.

On the other hand some countries Do Not Know how to utilize these chips replacing original ones.

Its about supply & demand in war time.

India's Nirbhay missile usage i486DX2 as its main processor... and in war time, you don't develop new hardware but replicate what is already developed and being used.

Agreed replication is the key.

On a side note, countries like India Pakistan have at the most supplies of around max 30 days. Than require more imports from global markets. According to both nations military administrators spokesman.

this is nothing new

But then the USAF uses PS3 is because it give them better image processing resolution (PS3 Chips are lauded for their GPU back in the days) and they are inexpensive (1760 PS3 is just slightly over 500k) and energy efficient, but The Russian have no choice but to recycle their chips for military uses.

I bet some smart ar$e in the USAF has the best Sony game playing experience in the world.

They wiped the system and installed linux on it, I doubt you can use it to play any PS3 games, not sure about PSN, technically they can be played on the server side tho.

And the USAF most likely did have a PS4 server and a PS5 server either in the work or had already done, not sure if you can play games on any of those.

I remember when Internet Explorer outer USA had a low encryption key-length strength due to security reasons and when USA forbid Playstation export under fears of enemy making a supercomputer.

Years later they aware was absolutely useless.

USA enemies are centuries behind them, and the only that technologically is near: China, it can'be stopped.

my first pc used something more fantastic 80386sx then i upgraded to that 80486dx2 .do you knew the chip is not capable of playing VCD and manage it like 4-5fps .
show how small calculation you need to make a missile do its work , if you don't waste cycle time of the chip for general purpose OSes and uses specialized software.
some where i read the raw calculation power of the computer in the Space Shuttle was less than a calculator

why not install pcsx on it, about ps4 and ps5 server i doubt , at the time better processor for the job were out there . at the time of PS3 the processor really was a revolution compared to what was available out there . AMD really outdid himself by designing that chip

usa banned export of pentium 586 chips , at the time we had Pentium PC's here these bans usually don't means that much
