The russians are not fools to challenge the NATO air crafts in that region. Russians know that they are at serious disadvantage over syria as far as the air combat is concerned.In case of a full blown aerial engagement handful of russian sukhois won't last for more then a few hours against the NATO air forces. NATO will also be reluctant to engage russian jets as it may lead to a full scale war. Anyways good job so far by the russian jets. Man everyone in the world saw what happened in Crimea (now Russian territory). And in Scarborough shoal (now Chinese territory).

America blew tons of smoke, but nothing else. Russia and China took action, and territories changed hands.

And yes, North Korea regularly threatens to nuke America (seems to be a ritual for them), however their capability is nowhere close to that of Russia.

You'll have to wait a few years before North Korea actually has the capability to carry out their threats.

Again, the US does not have a defence treaty with Ukraine, they have typically been in the Russian sphere of influence, and that only changed very recently.

I still don't know why the Philippines did not request US support, nor more bafflingly why they did not involve their navy. They knew they were outmatched, but being willing to shed blood for your territory has nothing to do with how matched you are, the US knows that very well.

The US can't have pressured the Philippines, otherwise they would not be debating reopening Subic bay, in fact they would surely have taken a different tack in that case.

Russia took Crimea, but the US 'took' Ukraine. None of our commitments or our alliances have been jeopardized by Crimea or Scarborough, Russia has been marginalized in Europe, China is giving the US a big boost in its pivot.

Ultimately what do these small parcels of land matter to the US? We care about our commitments which are one of the pillars of the US hegemony, and they have not been threatened by these actions, rather they have placed our treaties back in the spotlight, and brought about the warming of relations between old adversaries!

Im hardly worried about Nork nuclear capability, we are on the other side of the ocean and have the means to intercept it. You should be worried though, China is right next door, and given your troubles with the Norks, a nuclear armed north Korea wouldn't be good for China.

You couldn't exactly invade and topple their regime to replace it with an actual puppet without expecting a couple hundred thousand dead.

I'm even less worried about nuclear war with Russia than I am North Korea.

Turkey produce its own high end technologies.. In 2-3 years, Turkey will also produce its own anti aircraft weapons which is prototype and testing was just finished recently. Thats why, i believe, Russia will have short impact time but later, they have to leave the area.. Once, there would be videos showing down Russian jets, they will not have more choices..
Russia will never risk to go for a full scale war with Turkey, Turkey can also army Ukrain and make huge trouble for Russia..
