Russian President Putin arrives in Ankara for key talks with Erdoğan

I have a lot of respect for our Turkish brothers but and mostly don't have any problem with them but I don't see the reason why would he get personal for asking who (which country) is your friend then?

Bosnia, Muslim Albanians and other Balkan muslims, Azerbaycan and the other Turkic countries + Pakistan. Turkey doesn’t have any other real friends on this world.

Well unfortunately the Muslim world is not that advanced technically. I'm a big advocate of JV between Pakistan and Turkey and then include other countries like Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia etc into the mix. But we should also collaborate with technically advanced countries like Russia, China and others who are ready to do it on the basis of mutual benefits.

I'm pretty sure Turkey wouldn't object to that but Pakistan would probably want to install its own systems anyway if the Russians are allowing it. India will have the S-400 too so it's a bit risky.

Turkey is ahead in many areas compared with Pakistan, also what systems Turkey will replace??

Not a complete list but what comes to mind is:
-- Long range radar-to-C&C truck link frequency and modulation (can't be the same as Russians b/c Turkey is in NATO)
-- All signal encryption algorithms/units (this will replace a lot of the related gear in all of the elements of the batteries)
-- IFF system (obviously this has to be 100% Turkish)
-- Any other Russia-specific system/technology the Russians don't want to be leaked to NATO

Then Pakistan can work with Turkey and Russia if they want to purchase customize version of S-400 which will be unknown to India due to customization.

Current procurement for long altitude SAM.

-Four Battery S-400 missiles (Initial Payment done)
-Aster-30 missile system (Negotiations are proceeding)
-National Long Altitude missile system (Under development, Eurosam is tech partner)

Yeah, like @cabatli_53 nicely summarized this is pretty much the best Turkey can do. Turkey is being very diplomatic working with both the Russians and Eurosam while simultaneously also working on its own home-grown SAM technology. Obviously it's not cheap to do all this at the same time but that's price of flipping off USA.

Yes, certainly. Turkey would be delighted to offer Pakistan a customization solution for the S-400 following the experience gained from the nationalization of our own S-400s.

It's also foresighted by our leaders by not to putting all their eggs into one basket by collaborating with French-Italians on Eurosam (Hisar-U) and simultaneously working with the Russians on the acquisition of, and quite possibly licence production of 2 batteries in Turkey. Shooting two birds with one stone... I think it will also provide enough excuse within the NATO circles that we're not solely working with Russians only but teaming up with other NATO partners on these vital SAM equipment.

And any case certainly not ‘sensitive elements’, never - Turkey is a high member of NATO -. So nothing !

The so-called Russian contract - or Chinese - is only a means of pressure, from the beginning. But it's very good.

Sounds like that statement is meant for internal political consumption because a certain level of technology transfer is included in the contract they signed. How else is Turkey supposed to "nationalize" and manufacture the latter 2 batteries in Turkey?

That said, it's understandable that Russian officials make such statements to calm down the anti-Turkish/anti-Muslim fringe groups within their own camp, especially given how such a high-tech Russian system is being exported to a NATO country for the first time.
