The fact of the matter is this,it is not up to russia, much less israel for that matter,to decide the iranian balance of forces in syria and their deployments, that is a matter strictly for the iranian and syrian governments to decide upon and no one else.
i doubt Iran can stay in syria if the russians dont want them there.
If it was me , I would kill Assad for this issues and make sure Russia doesn't have any stand in Syria anymore and then leave Syria ... but IRI leaders just want to keep their wrong ways ...i doubt Iran can stay in syria if the russians dont want them there.
Is there any credible non zionist/non israeli source for this claim at all...anything at all?
Because without at least some non zionist/non israeli media confirmation, and ideally russian and iranian government confirmation via their nations respective media outlets, then this is likely at best just more israeli "wishful thinking" like the october jpost announcement that basically said the same thing as this one ie russia to keep iran/hez away from border, and at worst just more good old traditional israeli hasbara.

The irony of course is that in the very unlikely event that this does actually turn out to be true, then this represents a massive climb down for israel who had consistently claimed that they would tolerate no iranian military presence at all in syria.
I think you greatly over estimate russias degree of influence with iran both politically and militarily and not just in syria.Iran isnt some soviet era client/vassal state or the present day russian version of the saudis/gulfies which will just do what its told. Both iran and russia are each there for their own separate strategic reasons, but both agree on the necessity of cooperation in ensuring the survival of the syrian government and state and both have their own respective roles to play in this and neither one can do it alone.i doubt Iran can stay in syria if the russians dont want them there.
who couldn't see this days are coming !?
Almost 70 percent of Iranians which I knew ( and has some knowledge about this kind of issues ) were predicting this kind of things ...
anyway , I'm ok with leaving Syria ... if we stay , IR will put extra tax on Iranian to spend for Syrians .... I really don't know why IRI seek to have influence in Arab countries while we are just giving and don't receiving anything in exchange for past 30 years ....
If it was me , I would kill Assad for this issues and make sure Russia doesn't have any stand in Syria anymore and then leave Syria ... but IRI leaders just want to keep their wrong ways ...
Almost all Iranian media report this ... and we knew this would come but ...
Well thats odd, because its only the israeli media reporting this story and now haaretz has come out with a story that the israeli government is denying these claims as are the syrian government in fact.
As for syria, well the syrian government stood with iran when not only the arabs but most of the world allied with saddam, and it was one of only a tiny few countries who stood with iran at this time,so that should count for a lot, also lets not forget that syria and iran have a defense treaty as well, not to mention that the loss of syria would be a very big blow to the axis of resistance.Lastly would you rather wait for the wahabists to reach irans very borders before you decide to start trying to stop them.
the Syrian despot say that since 2011 , its the opposition that say he must not participate in the upcoming electionAll Iran has to do is come to an understanding with Turkey. If Iran can convince the Syrian despot to step down and take part in an election as a candidate Russia will lose most of her leverages. Of course Russia has more influence over the despot than Iran. So the chances are quite slim, that is, if Iran ever tries it.
the Syrian despot say that since 2011 , its the opposition that say he must not participate in the upcoming election
The chance that Iran will unilaterally withdraw from Syria is very low. You never give Iran a chance to insert tentacles in the first place, and Iran has done so deeply already. Russia is a stronger power than Iran is in world standings, but i dont really believe Russia is a stronger player than Iran in the middle east region. Iran still fields more ground forces in the Middle east than Russia does, and remember that ground troops are what really matter in war to hold territory. Iran will play with Russia because Iran doesnt see Russia as an enemy, but Iran will not answer Russian "instructions"that make it compromise what she perceives to be her interests.Of course Russia has more influence over the despot than Iran. .
Replace Syria with Iraq and people have said the same stuff about Iran. I believe Russia already knows privately it cant force Iran out of Syria, especially if Iran tones down its anti- Israeli actions from Syria. The opposition won't oppose his candidacy if he steps down before election, why do you omit this part? Iran is about to be kicked out of Syria. So I think Iran should be more practical in her approach as far as the despot is concerned.

Remember Russian are not trusted partner, specially for arab. Because when Israeli on verge of losing war against arab, It was Russian who send 25000 jew second world war veteran and other trained to confront arab. And they change the game in Israel favor. @The SCI think you greatly over estimate russias degree of influence with iran both politically and militarily and not just in syria.Iran isnt some soviet era client/vassal state or the present day russian version of the saudis/gulfies which will just do what its told. Both iran and russia are each there for their own separate strategic reasons, but both agree on the necessity of cooperation in ensuring the survival of the syrian government and state and both have their own respective roles to play in this and neither one can do it alone.
Lastly there is no credible independent evidence to support these claims made in the zionist/israeli media,in fact the israeli media made these exact same claims back in october last year, also the israeli haaretz has just come out claiming that israeli officials denied reports of a deal with russia on iranian forces and the syrian fm also denied any deal,so I think in my humble opinion that this is just yet more typical zionist bovine excrement.
See,what did I tell ya!?,completely maxed out.

Didn't that mad dog Netanyahu said that they wont accept Iranian military in Syria? now they say just stay 25km away! and obviously after Syrian army retook the areas, this limit will fade away too.
So practically terrorist supporters (including Israel) have accepted their defeat.
well , we could just keep our moth shot about Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and don't chant "death to USA" to be able to buy weapons and win the war ... instead we directly act against Soviet which angered them and they gave so many free weapon to Iraq to punish us and USA start to direct Iraq operation by giving them precious info about Iran and EU gave so many weapon to Iraq .... the result was stopping Iraq war machine which was bought for Iran by blood of youth who died in war ( like my uncle ) and the people who spend month and years in war ( my father , my other uncles ) which is no is going to be wasted by some idiot mullah in power ....
in fact Syria couldn't make any difference in the war ...
the Syrian despot say that since 2011 , its the opposition that say he must not participate in the upcoming election
Iran is in Syria by Syrian government permission and coordinate by Syrian army to be where not every body else.
well only if no opposition is inside that transitional government .The opposition won't oppose his candidacy if he steps down before election, why do you omit this part? Iran is about to be kicked out of Syria. So I think Iran should be more practical in her approach as far as the despot is concerned.
what Iran officially sent there are advisers.i ma bit confused as far as i know there is not Irani in Syria only advisor and assistant
