Russia willing to help Pakistan overcome energy crisis

Well given how US is trying to gain influence with India (a long-time Russian ally/friend) for strategic and economic purposes, it only makes sense for Russia to counter that by trying to do the same with Pakistan. Looks like they are starting to extend their hand to us for the second time.

Our govt sucks... they can utilise solar energy and wind energy by setting up plants in Balouchistan....
We have one of the worlds best region tht can be utilized for wind and solar energy production...
I recently saw some solar panels set up by a village to produce energy as well as wind mills.
Try doin tht at massive level and violla cheap energy.

How many times do people here have to point out the cost of solar energy for you guys to understand that Solar PV should be/and is limited to very far flung areas only and that a sustainable and cost effective Wind Farm expansion requires a local company producing most of the parts.

Russia has surly changed its policy..........
Good news for Pakistan.
Now Pakistan must try to consolidate these positive steps by keeping in mind that these relations should be based on equality unlike Pak-America relations.

PPP members from the trader community have business interests and projects in Russia hence they get along with the Russians far better than the rest of our political parties. One of their members has nearly half a dozen garment factories in Russia.
