Also, the taratala flyover took almost forever to finish. That place was like hell man :\

Kolkata is too too too much overcrowded to even survive. Every basic amenities in kolkata sucks. The only metric where Kolkata can beat Delhi is night life, crowd, electricity supply.

The problem with Kolkata is that there is no space to build new lanes..Work here takes forever to complete..Dont know when Metro will start running on new routes..Wait for 5 years and traffic will be worse than bangalore..

But there are many undersea submarine cables existing today with the longest being the NorNed(580 km) and it costed 600 million euros to build.We need atleast 1200 km long cable to do the job.

this is an absurd idea to put a nuclear power plant in A&N islands. We should know that the area is prone to earthquakes, cyclones & the worst of all "Tsunami" forget about transmissions, it is not a wise attempt at all. Even NE is not different. EQs and Floods are quite frequent. Central Indian states are the best bargain..
