Best thing for Ukraine to do is also start targeting Russian power infrastructure to plunge them into darkness. We already saw how vulnerable Russians mainland is. Very difficult to stop the lancet. It flies in very low profile, low noise, vid guidance. From the vid footages you see lancet not operating alone but in cooperation with another surveillance drone most likely the orlan.

Interesting, 12kg lancet can destroy or disable even tanks weight 60 tons. Then I make a math. the lancet has a kinetic energy of 41kJ with 300kmh when hitting a tank. E= 1/2*M*v^2. That’s still too little. Then coming the 3kg onboard dynamite. Even with both combined that would not be enough.

perhaps the lancet has an armor piercing nose. Ukraine army should mass deploy steel net to protect the assets. That’s probably the most effective means.

Russian seems learned their lessons from first generation of lancet (using cut down construction materials as shrapnel inside the drone )
honestly if there is an armor piercing nose and shaped charge inside lancet i doubt a mesh will help much , I believe the problem is top attack profile .
that is Achilles heel of armors unless probably some one do something about it in next generation Tanks and armored vehicle .
maybe a new generation of armor for them if they don't want to pass the 50-60 ton weight for MBTs

Yes neutral by trying to join NATO. Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons like Belarus because they were in a security union with Russia hence under the security umbrella. from the footages the lancet attack either the top or the lower side of the turret. That’s where the armor is weakest. The orlan from above monitor and guide the attacks.
I think however the lancet kinetic energy plus explosion energy are not enough to destroy the turret. Must be 1 lucky hit from 10 failed miss. The lancets perhaps have some armor piercing facilities, shaped charges or something.

Some prefere to spread this fake narrative of ukrainian guilt to justify russian expansion. Fact is Russia lost control of the ukrainian government, instigated unrest in the east that Ukraine managed contain, leading Russia to gradually pour more troops and weapons into eastern Ukraine just to uphold this conflict. Eventually Putin had to launch this masquerade of an SMO in order atleast gain control of some ukrainian territory.

The ukrainian conflict could not have been avoided because an invasion of Ukraine has been on Putins checklist for 8 years - state sponserede anti ukrainian propaganda was aired 24-7 prior to 2022. Nothing but complete ukrainian submission would have satisfied Russia.
