I would do an EU agricultural aid package to Ukrainian farmers, buy 10 billion in Ukrainian grain this year. And first sell 10-25% to European markets. Then sell the rest to the middle east that needs the food.

Wheat berries can last many years if stored properly, so bag the rest as a stockpile reserve for European food security.

The bigger problem is integrating Ukrainian agriculture into the European economy. Ukraine wants to join the EU. That means full access to EU markets. The problem is solving this for the long term. Increase and expand European food production of processed foods - pasta, breads, crackers, tacos, and so on, using Ukrainian surplus food production. Less imports of food to Europe, more exports within and outside of Europe. Take Ukrainian lemons, make lemonade and sell the lemonade, so to speak. Make money from this opportunity. Then also have good transport and port exportation to replace black sea route to the Middle East buyers of Ukrainian grain. This is a new problem, yet not difficult to solve. Europe needs food security, yet not price collapse and farmers go out of business and Europe is dependent on Ukraine for food and then Ukraine is invaded again by Russia. Europe cannot be vulnerable to Russian schemes. So properly integrating Ukrainian food production is something to carefully consider and plan. Poland should see this as a business opportunity to Europe and work with the EU to make sure existing EU farmers are not put out of business. To work with the processed food industry to gradually expand in Europe using Ukrainian grain and sell products to the Middle East and elsewhere overseas.

Probably, the first EU concern is food security. Then protection of farmers. Then business opportunities.
