Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

Waiting for F16s to fly into the Ukraine theater. That will up the game and first time we will see the real ability of F16s.
reliance on an airforce to execute a war guarantees the loss of the war- US relied on its AF too much in Afghanistan and Iraq and lost, same with Israel, relied too much on its AF in the 2006 war, and lost to Hezbollah. Plus US defense companies that manufacture the F-16 will have their stock prices drop once air defense systems shoot them out of the Ukrainian skies.

Also, F-16s wont save Ukraine if Ukrainian military is out of experienced and skilled ground forces.

Russia seems losing its artillery advantage

I have no doubt that sustained Nato support, even half assed as it is currently is, would completely grind russia into oblivion militarily and economically.

However…the western public and politicians are lacking patience and backbone. Especially if russia can turtle in and shape the narrative (dont prolong war, give peace a chance)

In that aspect…time might be running out for ukraine:

Funnily enough, even though support is slowly declining in europe..it is still strong despite harsher economic costs.

It is actually america which (although geopolitically hugely benefitting from the current conflict) through trump re-election is at highest risk to suddenly drop support.

. . . . . .
I said it before: The whole Nato are amateurs, when it comes to ground based airdef. From strapping tiny manpads missiles to trucks they evolved to strapping jet short range missiles, like the Houthis in Yemen. And they are celebrating it in the propaganda as a new wonderwaffle, new gamechanger and so on.

Hahaha, so true. It's always been Russia and it's amazing SAM technology that was helping underdogs like Vietnam go up against the world's greatest superpower as well as the family of SA-2/3/6 etc. in all the Arab/Israeli wars. The war of attrition in particular, followed by the Yom Kippur war and how the SA-3s, SA-6 and SA-2s altered the shape of the battlefield in a historical sense. Since then there has also been the families of BUK/TOR & Pantsir etc.

The Soviet Union along with Russia ushering in the next stage of SAMs in the S-300/400 variants and beyond have influenced the shape of battlefields unlike any other entity.

The Patriot PAC 3 never really set its foot or made a good enough impression to even compete against Russian SAMs. Now it seems like the Germans have set their foot in and have started inching their way into sharing the limelight with you fellas with their IRIS-T-SL system.

Western nation never had to defend against an airforce. So how would anyone know how western anti air systems would perform against any airforce?
Donated western anti air systems seems to have performed well against russian drone and missile strikes. I wonder how russian systems would fair against massive drone, cruise and ballistic missile strikes, considering Ukraine has been able to fly drones all the way to Moskow, and strike at will using missiles in the south of Ukraine.
