Hey does range always means the best? R-77 also out ranges AMRAAM but we do know that AMRAAM is more lethal.... i think both HARPOON BLOCK II and club are equally as good..

I'm not debating the relative merits of Harpoon and Club.

As you originally stated "Kilo lacks the capability to launch AShM", which in this case is incorrect as the Kilo's in question will have the Club 'system', which includes two AShM variants that do have longer range and heavier warhead than UGM-84. Now, that doesn't make them super-weapons. However, it does make them a credible threat.

You also mentioned "pakistan will be also fitting its CM in its submarines". Well, the Club family of missiles includes a 300km land attack cruise missile. Again, a credible threat (even though PN may have longer range CM if it fits Babur to its subs).

not necessarily, the one to be carried by submarine may also well be of a range of some 300-400 km. yes the land launched version have a range of 750 Km and pakistan is working to increase it further but for Submarine launched a smaller range version may well be acceptable keeping in mind its dimension and weight!
well i am not saying it surely will be less then Babur but only that no guess can be made depending upon s[ecs of Babur!! what do you think?

That's why I said "PN MAY have longer range CM if it fits Babur to its subs." Else, it will likely have a similar range LAM.
