Russia Ready to Supply India With Anaerobic Submarines

I'm not about to educate you. If you were any less intelligent we'd have to water you like a plant. Pakistan will always maintain a navy strong enough to thwart any indian aggression. As your naval plans grow, so will Pakistan's. I would urge you to stop performing self-fellatio and head back to 'bharat-rakhshak'.

What growing Naval plans are you talking about your navy will remain a brown water navy for decades to come

Let them think that PN is underdog and under estimate there capability to defend, although PN is now working to develop UUVs & UUCVs which is good.

Well that was a necessary step. Al Congress was obsessed with taking money abroad to European firms

LOL, the deal will go abroad again no matter under which party (even if you won't admit it), since we procure foreign subs that will be licence produced in India. The only change is, that we now face far more delays than necessary and made the production more complicated if 2 different ship yards will be chosen. But hey, your are ok with the same delays for crucial helicopters that would had been used in Siachin too, so it's not that surprising that you try to find excuses again.

GRIFFIN : Our 18 submarine fleet which we are planning now is just enough for Pakistan . Chinese are considered as threat by lots scs nation but not to India . War is averted not firing bullets but showcasing them as deterrent. We must have 50 +12 ( nuclear) sub in long term . Atleast 25 is a must by 2025 . We will achieve it with Arihant class and Advanced version. We are not local power any more . Our CBG needs separate submarines for certain roles . From where will u get ?

use @ and then write my name to tag me....

Indian Navy had 21 subs during 80s.low purchase for 30 years made this scenario.but if India could get some 20 operational Conventional Subs by 2025,that'd be enough,as per IN.the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) approved and recommended the long term plan for the local construction of 24 submarines over 30 years in two lines in 1999.yes,India has lost some precious time, but I think,by 2030,India can achieve this target, which will be both nuclear and conventional.

about Pakistan Navy, thery're only capable for defensive war for now.I'm hearing the news of new submarine purchase for long time.IMO,even if they buy now, they'll get their first Chinese Sub around 2019-2020.PLAN is insignificant in this part and not a single country around has a Navy capable to challenge IN.the more time passes,PLAN might get more active role in this region.but if we play our cards right,we may deprive them a foothold in this region.and that means, depriving them a station to replenish their ships within thousands of KMs from their shore.that means, only some large surface vessels with replenishment vessel,or some nuclear subs on long range patrol could come anywhere near our water.so,PLAN is not our major concern, and I think,PLAN will find it difficult to to both, countering USN's growing influence around their water and projecting power in IOR.

now, about numbers, its not always required so many subs to project power.in 1980s,we had 21 subs to perform duty.but in late 80s,we purchased KILOs,which was superior to anything we had before.in mid 2000s,we've purchased Scorpene and now,we're going to get more advanced ones.and we're procuring Nuclear subs as well.it is said that one nuclear subs replaces role of 3 conventional subs, due to its longer time on station.a Conventional subs can't stay on station for longer time.so,a Nuclear Sub on patrol generally replaces 1 conventional sub on station, one that is going to replace and one that is returning from station. In my opinion,we should start making Subs with JV from either Japan(their Soryu is among the best) or Russia/France and later move towards indegenous one.along with this,we should increase our Nuclear Subs fleet as much as possible.some 6 SSBN(2 was already built,1 is in the line) and 6+ SSN must have to be achieved within 2025-2030 timeline.and I'm hopeful as our Shipbuilding capability is now capable to handle this kind of challenge.

Pakistan's ever-growing navy

that line made my day.

yessssss, ever growing, but only on dreams.their Frontline ships are F-22P and older Type-21s(Type-21s are some 40 years old already).second hand OPH is some 35 years old and soon going to be retired.that means within few years, they've to replace 6/7 frontline ships with newer Frigates.

now lets come to Submarine fleet.2 Augusta Subs are some 35+ years older, only their 3 Augusta-90B are new.we're hearing about Chinese Submarine purchase for long time, yet,no confirmation.

EVER GROWING........

Buddy are you on drugs!!! Pakistan Navy is such a mess that even Pakistani talk about as lost cause. In 1971 Pakistan navy was in better condition than what it is today and yet we successfully destroyed your navy. I think you are giving more importance to the PN than it should deserve. Other than 2000 ton 3 F22p and 2 Augsta 90B which asset of PN is less than 35 years old, these are sitting duck for anti ship missile, if you think these ship are going to save PN from IN then dream on baby.
Instead of giving advise to other to go to Bharat rakhshak you should first check your mind, it seems your madarsa educated quality doesn't even show a semblance of respect to senior people on the forum. You are a newbie first learn to walk before advising others.:hitwall::hitwall:

@griffin I HAVE NO DOUBT . WE WILL HAVE 30 submarines by 2030 ... will more but the plan u pointed out of our requirements of 30 subs was of 1999 sinerio . When we had lots of submarines operational than present and time where Chinese Navy was manageable threat. Times have changed . Pakistanis will get atleast 10 sub from china. Leave the quality aside for now. Our force strength must match the current and future requirements when we are looking to support SCS countries , keeping PN at bay and rebut Chinese advance over indian ocean. I don't know what why we should not have 60 subs when we have lots of wealth to safe guard. We not million dollar economy anymore. We will achieve 12 trillion in next 10 years which very possible at the speed we are inviting investments. Country without power projection can not be a major play er r in world arena. We must look beyond defenc and go for affensive capabilities. Unless we have major power to back us at the time of war. We won't align with NATO or Russians like in our past. (May be we will) we can spend 5 lakh cr rupes in the next 20 years to safe guard trillions of dollar economy, more than 2 billion Indians and our land .

It is too late russia. We are testing our AIP units in March this year. We have a plan to install that in our last 2 scorpene subs. Quote in project 75 I. You may get a chance to colobrate with Indian company for 6 subs.

No chance. We will eventually have to go for foreign subs in order to strengthen our numbers. Our shipyeards are fully booked for at least a decade. We have reached our industrial capabilities.
