Russia ready for war as Putin assumes presidency

Putin is the BEST THING to happen to the U.S. as far as Russia is concerned. As long as he is dictator, Russia will remain the underachieving, corrupt joke it is now. Putin is an ANCHOR around the neck of Russia. LONG LIVE PUTIN !!!:usflag:

It will be definitely very interesting to see Russia's foreign policy in this decade. :coffee:

You know nothing about Russia as they do need a strong leader with a centralized government in order to keep everything together.

An attack on Iran, will trigger WW3, no doubt. American Interests will not presume here, for even they're not stupid enough to trigger world annihilation. Nor should they endeavor to play world leader, and plunk their nose in every situation.

Trigger WW3, trigger WW3, blah, blah. Heard it sooo many times. Yet whooops, never happens. (gulf war 1, 2, Sebia, etc). Seems the world isn't interested in blowing itself up for the sake of some small, deviant nations.

That is actually an American problem. People who have never travelled swallow the liberal dogma that everyone and everywhere is the same. We need to realise that countries like US, Canada, Australia etc. have unique circumstances, and what works locally will NOT work every where.

If it is convenient, then Putin could even assume the lifetime presidency as long as the country is going well under his governance. :coffee:

Even the two terms 8 years of presidency is too short for the long term plan as you can't barely get anything done, never mind the short one term presidency.

Maybe US could learn how to tolerate other people's culture and politics, i mean if the communism makes the life of the citizens of a particular nation better, why bother to label them as the evil commies?

If the communism has no intention to influence America, then you shouldn't bother about its existence. :coffee:

Depends on how you define 'well'. If 'doing well' means running in place and not moving further BACK into a national decline, then yes, Russia is doing very well indeed and yes, Russia need a strong man like Putin just to keep to keep from collapsing.

Communism does not have a record of VOLUNTARY participation. Communists do not like to be challenged. Therefore, communists can only mislead people into believing their ideals then violently suppress any dissent.

Communists have a constant problem of being bothered by the existence of non-communists. So what is wrong with returning the favor?

Baghdad Bob...!!! Is that you...???

So they need a dictator who blatantly manipulates the election process, bans, jails and kills opposition candidates and the reporters who dare to write about it to keep his soviet-style grip on power ? Nice !! His ham-handed ploy (the Medvedev puppet) to stay in power makes the world laugh. 'Those' types ALWAYS get theirs in the end.:hang2: Maybe the 'dioxin bug' will hit him one day.

Yes, just to keep from collapse. Am not making a sarcastic comment here. I have friends who have been to Russia, business and pleasure, and their reports, if I can be so generous to call it that, is not good for Russia. The Soviet Union was an empire, a conglomerate of dissatisfied soviets, that was bound to collapse in the face of strong ideological and military resistance and containment from the Western alliance during the Cold War. Russia is not such. Russia and Russians have a common cultural identity while the Soviet empire did not. And yet Russia is at risk for collapsing in similar manner.

Really ?

These days Russian Youth is more interested in doing DRUGS than fighting WARS. Where is Putin going to recruit soldiers ? The republics are gone.

What do you mean by saying small and deviant nation? The one who is the most deviant and big of course is US.You start wars against whoever you like since you are powerful and those organizations who claim peace and only claim, just bark about human rights, etc and since they are in your hands, they never convict you for your war crimes!!!Every time we hear some students in the US carry guns to their schools and try to kill their classmates and teachers then tell me who is deviant??!!!Believe me if you dared, you would attack Iran even before Iraq and Afghanistan.Your officials say they are sorry to see a woman(who had sex with sb else while she had husband and KILLED her husband before having sex) killed in Iran but you yourselves are such double faced that kill a retard woman who had killed her husband and son without getting sad!Every one knows the true face of USA!

Listen guys I see some US members are talking like............
How can you call Putin a dictator?Russians want him to be their president! Why do you call sb a dictator while most of the people have selected him?Putin is a strong man and I think he is a great president for Russia. He'll make Russia stronger.
As your point of view,it seems Obama,Ahmadinejad and others are dictators too!
And let me tell those US members sth:We have never been worried of wars.We are ready to face possible attacks from any country. So whenever you want,we are ready to deal with you in a GREAT way.
I think the confrontation of Iran and Russia against NATO will be exciting.

^^^Our stomachs will roast in hell! A quote from the last regime that fought you, for what, 8years? How many did you lose for no advances?
