Russia's next generation transport aircrafts will be MTA, the designing will start from 2011 jan along with india

Not the same class. The IL-476 is a heavy transporter, the MTA will be a medium transporter in the same class as C-130.

china is not incline to buy any c130 plane, if you know anything about chinese military. china already have the y9 plane in the same class. if they want a larger carrying load, they can just purchase from russsia or ukraine, more reliable sellers. the c130 adds nothing new to the capability that they already have. the purchase only adding a lot more logistic works and future begging for spare parts..everyone knows how unreliable americans..it makes no sense...why do you think the US made an offer in the first place?


this y8 awac platform side by side with the c130. very similar size. the y9 transport plane is the same plane, just a little modification.
