I have many complaints about western administration. About my own government. Honestly I think that even my own government right now, that replaced Netanyahu, is full of liars and lobbyists, sold their beliefs and made a coalition of people with widely opposing ideologies that makes rational decision making impossible, and that pretty much every single one of them and almost every single judge in Israel should be fired and charged for treason and the endangerment of Israel and the senseless loss of Israeli soldiers due to stupid rules of engagements.

I also think the way the entire IDF hierarchy should be replaced because it is infested in leftists that got their role thanks to close ties within the IDF.

Such opinions are opposed to what my media says.
However, that doesn't make me like what China does. It commits incomprehensible violations of human rights to their own citizens and other generally disturbing practices.
Selling powdered baby flesh pills as first discovered in South Korea, forced harvesting of organs, dog eating festivals in which dogs are skinned alive and thrown into large frying pans, general lack of empathy, whatever is happening with Uyghur Muslims and in the Tibet area, senseless provocations of Taiwan, a country that doesn't even threaten you.

I doubt anyone living in China can criticize China without getting arrested.
I think it's a good enough motive for them to not speak about what's wrong in there.

Also, cities in which Western citizens would reside would probably be cities with more modern minded people.
