Russia has natural resources. China has human resources

I am waiting for the day when UN, IMF, WB are not based in the United States but in China, Russia or North Korea before I call it an end of Western domination or beginning of a new era.

The languauge of international aviation had better change to Mandarin or Russian first, as well. The Chicago Convention makes it clear that only English shall be the language of aviation. That made it (English language) overwhelmingly dominant in all forms of commerce, trade, scientific publications, for global mass media and international exchanges. The global lingua franca is English.

The Chinese or other East Asians are always found copying and playing catch up. Not until they come up with novel ideas that the West is seen imitating and new areas where the West is seen playing catch up can we say the Chinese have arrived.

Not yet, certainly.
And China needs to build at least 2000 nuclear warheads to deal with the belligerent USA and the West in general !

I simply do not believe that China has only 400 war heads it simply does not add up, China has a lot more than the world knows.

This argument goes both ways.

How do you/we know what secret weapons exist in American arsenal?
Russian arsenal?

The great powers can not be expected to reveal their entire inventory of weapons or black projects to the hoi polloi.

400 is the US and the West in general believe or estimate what China possesses. No official Chinese number on Chinese nuclear warheads are made public.

The west can not completely sanction Russia because they found its natural resources are irreplaceable. Lately Washington warned that the west will sanction China if it refuse to sanction Russia. Will that happen? Don't think so. Because China has rarer resource, human resources. Russia's natural resouces are somehow replaceable in the long run, regardless all costs the west world has to pay. China's human resources is by no means to be replaced by, not a single country, but the rest world combined.

Population scale doesn't matter. Only well educated, disciplined, well trained people are human resources. India is the NO.1 population country now. For cultural, political and many other reasons, India's human resources scale is far more smaller than China. 1/3 at best. And the productivity of Indian human resources is not good enough. One obvious example that can prove China is irreplaceable is the STEM graduates number each year. Which is bigger than US+EU+India+Japan combined. From labor intensive factories to cutting edge research centers, High quality, large number Chinese labor force covers all known industries. And Based on that, China has formed numerous industry chain clusters. Which makes other countries harder to compete with China in products quality and quantity.

US is bluffing. 100% sanctions to China like US did to Russia is not possible. Making 20% sanctions is possible. But US has already implemented 15% sactions to China in recent years. There is no much room left for US to blackmail China.
yeah well the joke's on you cuz the u.s. has whining resources!

How about Russia shake hand with US and slap much harder sanctions to destroy CN like during Eight nation alliance .

U forgot that Vladivostok was CN's land, but its belong to Russia now tks to Eight nation alliance??

This scenario could happen. But not in 10 years.

Things change fast , bro. CN is still not strong enough to fight against both Russia-US now. So, harder sanction from US plus oil cutting from Russia will deal a huge negative impact to CN's economy.

Without oil from Russia plus US forces the Middle east stop selling oil to CN, then I think CN's economy only can last for 1 year .

Again, this proves you Viets are little hi on tropical drugs for living on hot tropical lands to wildly imagine that Russia and the evil USA would gang up on China now as they are at each other's throat now !

No, it's more like 40% of C919 parts are imported from the West. It's normal for airline companies to import parts from other countries, even Boeing is so. The engines are imported from USA for now, later will be replaced with domestically produced ones.

@WotTen

I think the Chinese are behind by around the same amount in civilian turbofans. They are using imported turbofans for now due to certification requirements and fuel efficiency.
With military turbofans these two things are not important.

They already have tested their CJ-1000A engine for C919 airliner and now aim to get it into service in 2030 - 9 years behing schedule.

This is early 2010s Western tech and so would be less than 20 years at the time.

Think about it this way - if China just traded with itself and Russia it would have all the raw materials and the base technology to keep both it's aerospace and electronics industry on the road - there may be a delay and technological level would be a bit lower but the Chinese now have all the know-how to be able to build anything.

.
Saying US can sanction China is a joke. US should fear China sanction.

I don't know enough about jet engines, except that civilian jet engines are a lot harder to make because they need to be reliable over longer lifetimes. A military pilot can eject, worst case, but a civilian jet engine needs to work flawlessly day in and day out for decades.

Rolls Royce has been making jet engines since almost WW2.

Thats is right. Civilian jet needs high reliability and in addition, efficient fuel consumption. Not easy. Nowadays we talk about fuel consumption improve by 3% on a generational upgrade. 5% is considered a miracle or big breakthrough.

But problem is -- RR and GE are 2 big complacent companies having lots of MBA on top. Good engineers get sidelined. This is another Intel.

I guess catching up them may be sooner than a lot of people estimate.

I think there are only a handful of companies in the world that make civilian jet engines so they can't afford to get too complacent.

However, it is a given that Chinese companies will join this exclusive club sooner or later.

Only 3.5. RR GE Safran and PW.

All are MBA infested,

The western corporate today favors people who BS. They fear engineers.
