As far as China is concerned, sovereignty is never negotiable and as CPC says, they are prepared to fight a thousand wars.
Why is the recent US Administrations sadly reneging and raising this fact that has already been settled and established since 1971?
Playing the Taiwan's card again???
Then the logical thing to do for China is to remove this card from the US once and for all just like what Putin Russia is doing in Ukraine.
Is President Tsai or Umehara prepared to risk it all by declaring Independence?
China has an anti-secessionist law that compell her to retake Taiwan by force if she does that.
It is as simple as that? Just do it!
She risks first of all, coup d'etat by Taiwanese Army or even get assassinated by the ruling triads if she dares to alter the status quo.
