Excellent pics Sudhir. Over all its very potent ship. But if they could only put a loner range SAM and better radar these ships would have been a great asset for our navy. Something like Aster-30.

Guys, sometimes I think its necessary for all top guns of military to go for MBA classes, may be cost to service bug will bite them and make them true management guys.......

I have read some where tha the corvettes Navy ordered from GRSE are still sitting post completetion but that was sometime ago...

P-28 are well in track. We will see first one ready in 2012. They were initially delayed due to some problems like late supply of new high grade steel and steel cutting etc.

may be the navy underestimates the ship yards thinking they will not be capable of tech advancement occuring in each block, or may be they are waiting for the design or the configuation of what will be the tech that the later blocks will have...

There are always some delays when someone try to build something new. Its true for everyone. But after that on follow on systems there is usually no delay. Same goes to P-17, P-15, Talwar etc. If navy orders six more of existing P-17 with Brahmos and Barak-NG, I think MDL can build them well with in time.
