ya... its good to pursue what you like and not under pressure from parents. but why did you wait till 4th year. did you fail in many subjects?

:o: I passed in 6 out of 36 papers . Out of 6 papers I passed , I failed in internals of 2 papers .:(
I consider waiting till 4th year , the biggest mistake of my life .

Under pressure from Parents , especially Mother .

I don't know about you people but we in the North East play a lot of football.A hell lot.We don't play that much cricket which is good too since Cricket is less physically taxing than football and helps a lot in stamina enhancement.

I m not use to see football much. So I don't care much about football star players where they are or where they will be. I just want to see India playing in world cup . only then I will take interest in football. But I love to watch tennis , cricket, wrestling. @Kashmiri Pandit

- India does not have a proper set up to encourage kids for sports / football.
- Kids needs to be introduced to sports at early age.
- Need good inter schools, district level, zonal level and state level competitions on regular basis.

European clubs have a tradition of identifying talented kids at young age of 7-8, get the child under their club and train him. Same should be encouraged in India.

We need at least 2 football clubs at every taluka level.

Clubs should get tax benefit/reliefs, so they can be encouraged to invest and promote the game in healthy way.

Every taluka should have open football ground. Free entry to kids and parents. Free memberships for kids till age of 12 yrs old.

Good diet for kids, teenagers. Indians need to include Proteins in our diet. That gives strength and stamina to run and play hard.

ISL is just another money minting machine like IPL. I never saw it and not interested either.

Prefer Champions league or EPL :)

Ya ! It has been a Hell of a Ride .
Ummm ! Not upset , as to begin with I was forced by parents into Engineering . But I sure miss College life .
Ya . The only thing I regret is , I waited too long . 3 years of my life are a complete waste of Money , resources and Time .

Hoping for the Best . If I pass my BA next year , I will apply for Banks .

Respect. I know exactly how you feel. 4 years of Civil engg before I dropped out in the 4th year to pursue a career in hospitality (not because of an injury but because of a girl), and 5 years later with an undergrad and postcard degree under my belt, doing what I'm good at, and also meeting my wife in my postgrad it was the best fuckup ever in my life. Ever. This world works in mysterious ways.

You will feel the same satisfaction my friend, guaranteed!!! You deserve it.
