A contract worth more than 200 million euros offered to Cristiano Ronaldo!

When the World Cup had just started a few days ago, the announcement of the termination, by mutual agreement, between Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo had the effect of a bomb, even if it seemed inevitable to the seen from the interview that the Portuguese had granted to Piers Morgan. In the latter, the Lusitanian striker had paid the Red Devils long, wide, and across, attacking both the owners but also his coach and the players of the English club. Cristiano Ronaldo is therefore now considered a free agent on the transfer market. And this arouses the greed of several clubs.
The interest of Al-Nassr, resident of the Saudi Arabian championship, is not recent and the Saudi club would be more and more determined to attract the fivefold Ballon d’Or in its nets. According to sources close to the club, relayed by CBS, the leaders of this modest club in the Arabian Peninsula, more from a sporting and not a financial point of view, would be over-motivated and their affect would be “stronger than ever”. Al Nassr hopes as such, after long discussions with his representatives, that the Portuguese international (192 caps, 118 goals) will be keen to experience a new challenge after the World Cup.

Numbers that make your head spin

In this perspective, the board of the Saudi club would be ready to make an offer that Cristiano Ronaldo cannot refuse. It would even be, according to the latest indiscretions of our colleagues of CBS, a nine-digit proposition. More specifically, the capital club would have made an offer of up to 225 million dollars (around 216 million euros) over 3 years. The Portuguese would therefore receive the trifle of 75 million dollars (about 72 million euros) per season. A pretty penny for the Lusitanian star.
The ball would therefore be in the court of Cristiano Ronaldo and his representatives. All that is missing is the agreement and the final decision of the now former Manchester United player for the agreement to materialize and be formalized in the coming weeks or even the next few days, still according to the same sources close to the residents of Mrsool Park of Riyadh. Indeed, due to the contacts and exchanges initiated recently between the two parties, the discussions would be relatively well advanced. To be continued…

Looks like Cristiano Ronaldo, who is by far the most followed person on social media in the world, will do PR stuff promoting Saudi Arabia in every walk of life (tourism, World Cup 2030 bid etc.) for the next 10 years or so, which is most likely worth 100 times more than the peanuts (from a Saudi perspective) that they are paying him. Good for the growth of football and sport in KSA and the growing and improving image of KSA as a country in the West.

Messi is onboard too in terms of Saudi tourism.

Looks like some beautiful Saudi Arabian girl caused some butthurt to Ronaldo’s girlfriend. The clip and others went viral with millions of views. Hilarious.

Legend.

When you have so much money you can buy anything and anyone.

Was that not always the case? From where does the power of the US originate from if not money and financial power which again enables everything else to flourish from the military, education, research and development, technology, income, infrastructure, living standards, healthcare, investments etc.

Money is king after all.

I mean that is true, but have to give credit to Saudia and Qatar that they are using their wealth to promote their countries (more money to follow). So Kudos to them and wish them good luck.

Ronaldos finished and past he’s sell by date . Man United who made him dumped him wasn’t even good enough for Portugal at the World Cup . He was hawked about to every single elite team in Europe and all rejected him even for £80000 a week . He said he wanted to continue playing at the highest level but no one came in for him even on discounted wages so he ended up in the pub league for £17 million a year 😂🤣 where there isn’t a team good enough to compete in the bottom rung of the English championship.

While Messi became goat Ronaldo watched on TV lol

Arabs with there pants down again

When you have so much money you can buy anything and anyone.

Not really Elite players or up and coming players would never join Local pub league as school children in Europe play at a higher level .
Only over the hill finished players will go play there

Credit where credit is due.

Are you really that thick to believe that a 38 year old Ronaldo was signed due to his current football ability? He is signed for PR reasons which will benefit KSA as a country far more than whatever peanuts he is being paid. Ronaldo is the most followed person in the world on social media. Getting him to move to KSA and getting him to do PR for KSA for the next 10 years is a huge PR victory.

Obviously the best football leagues are in Europe but KSA has one of the best Asian leagues if not the best Asian football league and a 38 year old Ronaldo won’t find it easy.

Correct not signed for he’s footballing abilities.

Makes it a laughing stock in the rest of the football world as he stated he wanted to continue to play at the highest level .

What your saying is Manchester United is bigger than Saudi Arabia 😁

His interview with Piers Morgan proved to be a fatal mistake of his. No about about it. He was always a bit deluded after all. However people need to give him a bit of a break. He has had a phenomenal career and is approaching 40 years. The money he was being offered in KSA was huge even for him and he could not say no.

I am saying that Al-Nassr/KSA signing Ronaldo has 100 times more to do with PR, Ronaldo inspiring the local youth etc. than Ronaldo's current football abilities which we all agree have seen better days.

Lionel Messi to Al-Hilal £245 million pound a year deal story circulating.

Lionel Messi's father Jorge is rumoured to be in Riyadh to hold talks with Al-Hilal about the possibility of his son joining the Saudi club in a deal that would see the Argentine star earn a staggering £245m-a-year.
