did the two ever even have a war? I think China was busy with Indian, Mongolian invasions.

Btw, the sails on those Junks, what are they made of?

It's speculative history. Imagine these two Ancient Superpowers met and had an conflict..

sorry to say but kings of ancient and medieval india never ventured out of the subcontinent. there was already so much wealth here that they had to fend off foreign, savaging beggars for over a thousand years. the exception being south Indian influence in SE Asia, but that was more cultural than militaristic.

there was a really detailed article posted here before i think, with the entire economy calculated as well as production of every resource - cant find the link :P (but no point of posting htat, obviously superior white race won)

Would have been interesting. China under her first emperor Qin Shi Huang with his crossbow equipped army vs the legions of the Roman Republic just fresh from the battles with Carthage during the second Punic War.

Iran was fighting the romans on behalf of the so called Han Chinese , nice thread bro , have a nice day

Depends on which period of "Roman Empire" go against which period of "Chinese Han empire"

But anyway the Chinese should be thankful that they never met the Roman.

The Romans, of course. Who can deny the superiority of the white race? The white race , if you observe history, has been the conquerors and everyone else, subjected peoples.

Look at India. Such a massive land, yet subjected to the superiority of English strategy and power.

Rome would have humbled any asiatic. Rome collapsed only due to the might of the Germanic people, an ethnic group of the white race. Rome did not fall to an asiatic force.

Quality over quantity, bud.

The Chinese chariot speaks volumes. In Europe, chariots were already considered out-dated and useless.

Early crossbows had little penetration..Roman armor was far more advanced than Chinese.

Indeed. Roman cavalry's wedge formations quickly erased the effectiveness of en-masse chariot attacks. The Gaulic tribes, which utilized this tactic, were subdued. Celtic tribes were subdued accordingly in Roman expeditions to Britannia ; many of the celtic armies utilized the archaic chariot charges as the Gauls.

Mostly, but more heavy infantry than Roman cavalry.
