F-15 Eagle, F-15 Strike Eagle, F-15 Saudi Advanced, Tornado IDS/ECR,
Tornado ADV, F5s and Typhoon Trench 2 & 3.
And no, we have above 900 planes in total.
The scramble website which maintains a very accurate record of aircraft is a better judge.
A query on the F-15 in the Saudi AF returns 145 active(flyable) items.. 60 F-15C, 20 F-15D, 65 F-15S and one F-15SA(currently with Boeing) , with their serial numbers.
A query on the Tornado returns 80 active aircraft with serial numbers from a total operated type of 123.
A query on the F-5 returns 15 aircraft still in active service since 15sq is suspected as no longer flying and neither is 17sq from a max record of 206.Which means that all of the F-5A and B types have been retired as have been most of the F-5 fleet.
There are currently 26 typhoons listed as active.
So currently there are 266 combat aircraft operational within the RSAF. There are also the Hawk trainers which are unconfirmed if they are combat capable and there are 43 Hawks in service as of right now from a total order of 58.
There are 5 E-3 sentry's operational along with 7 KE-3A's there are tankers based on the E-3s and two RE-3 SIGINT/ELINT aircraft operational. Additionally there are 7 KC-130's currently operational with the RSAF however they are only able to refuel the F-5 or Tornado aircraft(and now Typhoon) .
Hence the actual combat force(i.e those that will be active in combat operations or support operations today) is actually 287 and not 642 or 900 or whatever.
The large number of aircraft is with the large Royal flight based at King Khaled which caters to the needs of the Royal family and hence cannot actually be considered force types and are generally VIP aircraft so like others the 30 aircraft they have do not count and no enemy will consider a plush sofa 747 a threat.
