I just find the Kurds admirable. If the Jews deserve a homeland why not the Kurds?

Well im not your friend then,im against the PKK and as long as the IS kills them,i have no problem with IS.

The big fat White elephant that is ISIS would stand little chance against a trained, organized military. ISIS was fighting a demoralized Iraqi army which lost the majority of it's generals as they had joined the organisation itself. The same generals were defeated by the US before, drew in a war against an Iran which was going through a revolution, and have been knocking horns with an isolated dictatorship in the ME even though they've received millions of dollars in aid.

We faced USSR and killed it at the same time when India was camping with half a million soldiers on the other side of the border.

as for Syria it has become the Vietnam / Korea battlefield for 2 world powers Russia & USA, add with that some regional countries using Sunni and Shia religion to fuel it even more you have todays Syria with 5+ sides fighting each other.

Syria is paying for having an autocratic system which wasn't flexible enough to absorb aspirations of its citizens.

TTP had 50 or so insurgent organizations which wreaked havoc throughout Pakistan for almost 10 years. Now they are in pieces and running for their lives. The insurgency wasn't partially or completely created by Pakistan but by a few states who are much interested in destroying us.

Well, its not my fault how you chose to saw the post i made. The whole thing i was trying to get across was that cultural strength coupled with a flexible democratic system over a period of time can achieve results and its not necessary for a Muslim state to be secular or non secular to be successful.
